I really like the videos on specific situations: what to do when you are pulled over, what to do when the cops come to your door during a party, stuff like that. Maybe more in-depth videos, or STATE-SPECIFIC videos would be really good. Also specific trick-questions like "Do you know how fast you were going" can have their own videos as well. I realize that a lot of these things you have done already, but maybe more specific or updated versions would really help get the message out.

Like a cross between Judge Judy and Predator that: •Showcases good police conduct. •Gets actionable evidence of bad police conduct. •Trains citizens on how to deal with police in a variety of real life situations. •Trains cops - shows them contempt of cop is not a real crime. •Deterrent to police misconduct. Also would like to see a video on post-arrest "back at the station house" advice, since cops trick people out of their rights there too. "You don't really need a lawyer do you?"

@heafy you can refuse any request an officer makes. if they command you, you have to listen. the difference between "can you roll down your window more?" and "roll down your window more" is a thin line but it's not illegal for you to refuse a request.

One other thing: talk about filming police officers, and the legalities around that. It has been a rising issue especially in the last year, and different states have different laws. When am I obstructing justice? What do I do if they tell me that I can record video, but not audio? Can the officer make me delete footage I have taken? Do I have to turn over my camera? Especially since everyone has camera-phones, I think a video outlining every detail of these laws would be awesome.

Everyone has a camera, gopro, or videophone. Talk a little about that. State specifics might help. "In Ca, NY, and TX you have to do it this way. In TN, AK, etc you have to do it that way" Also, thanks! I'm an attorney and I've learned quite a bit from your videos.

i think you should just keep it honest. if the people portrayed are knowingly breaking the law and just trying to find ways out of the consequences then i really think that will reflect negatively towards your... goal. i think you are all doing an excellent job as is but you have given me something to think about.

@MrJR0986 and that's how it should be. there are some states that consider recording audio as "wiretapping", and there are certain laws about filming in public vs private. I think a lot of enthusiastic rebels like to get in the cop's face with a camera, and scream "police brutality" when they get put in their place. However, there are still many respectful adults who film and get poor treatment as well. A video - or video series (it is pretty complicated) - outlining this is really necessary

Hey Steve, fan of your work. Have you guys ever considered some kind of reality show? Like set up candid cameras in a situation where one of your guys is not actually doing anything wrong but likely to be approached by police. Then have him react like a normal person might. Not actually resist arrest or anything but act slightly annoyed and be a little more provocative than in your other videos. Then if the cops overreact you pop out of the bushes an tell them to, "have a seat over there".

police here in australia hate it when you record them, i can go into 2 certain details when they have approached me (even when im in my own yard, filming them from over 80 feet away !!!) they complain "how would you like it if you were being filmed for doing nothing wrong" i replied " i do get filmed all the time for doing nothing wrong along with thousands of other people evveryday from our CCTV cameras in my towns main street" :)

Do a video about how if you have a small amount of drugs and you eat them. That it is NOT destruction of evidence. You hear people getting charges too often for 10 dollars worth of weed, coke, whatever. Just eat it as soon as the lights go on or when you get stopped. You won't die. Seriously. If you make a video about that that will help lots of people.

@stevenp25100 While I agree that there is a lot of anti-cop sentiment out there, I think a lot of people don't know their legal rights. It is no lie that cops make use of that fact. Hell, they will tell you themselves. Cops have many tools at their disposal, and it's important people know what tools they have. Good cops, bad cops, it doesn't matter.

In Japan there have been reports of convictions where the only evidence is a "forced" confession. The suspects sustain mysterious injury while in custody. This is similar to the "5th Amendment" in The United States. It would please me greatly if information about this comes to light. I feel the high conviction rate (99%) is misleading in this way. There is a 2 year time limit inacted which means the case must be closed in that time if a suspect is incarcerated. Please help.

@Fastgt2003 You're missing the point. The idea isn't that whites aren't harassed by the law, but that minorities are harassed at a much larger rate. This means there's still a chance to be unfairly harassed, but that chance is increased simply due to the color of your skin (or where you live, how you dress, your religion, etc).

@NukeMarine NO!!!! Don't attempt that without an attorney. You could end up incriminating yourself without knowing, or with an edited recording. It could end up just being your word versus the cops. I'm not a legal professional, but I'm just sayin'. ;)

@Propolandante I thought the same shit as u. I live in Ottawa, Canada, and there is a video interview with our Police Chief (at the time, now a part of the Senate) - and he states (at least here) we can film any constable on patrol. Yet, theres another video of Ottawa police hassling somebody filming them...

@NwZ2 Dude I'm on the other side ..Nice looking white Guy and I have had what you would say happen to the other race .My point is it's not only only color it happens to all due to over use of police Power No matter what! Can I say more to police then somebody on the other side ?Chances are Prob I'll agree with u but point is they give us just as much crap sometimes as everybody else I don't think people that are on the other side understand that..Point is Make it harder to be a Cop In AMERICA

I know rule number 1 is NEVER SPEAK TO POLICE!!! However, are there states where it's legal to ask and receive immunity to questions on the spot. Sure, you'll want a recording to prove you asked and the officer stated what you said would not be used against you, but should even that be attempted?

Here's a good one I had a run in wit a cop who pulled out in front of me at a stop sign when i had none. He waited till I was right at the intersection and then went causing me to swerve. I refused a breathalyzer cuz I had just left a business meeting where alcohol was served. Thing is this is a small white community, I'm not white, where racism is known and documented. What should I have done?
