This man seems always to know just what right medicine people need at a particular phase in our human growth journey. I realized this winter that some hole in my energetic fence was "needing" the kinfolk or friends to be cheerful, respectful, friendly or whatever. This is absurd. Even for a Southerner like me. It's a kind of childish, spoiled & unweaned aspect. I began practicing Matt's advice without knowing it, or thinking of the word "sovereign," or any words. Just appreciating the other's ongoing world/life, unseen by me, as my life is unknown to them too. This instantly stirs compassion. The real kind. Not too grieved or sad, nor shallow either. It's about growing up, leaving the resentful childish dependency behind. Whew!

I did not know that feeling the weight of the world - or should I say, soaking in it - was a symptom of empathy! I see it now. That sure lightens the load! Throw in the burdens - the antics - of those around me and damn! I find myself walking in circles and it takes real effort to function half the time... so much so, that just the other day I thought, “I’ve got to set up some boundaries.” And that’s something I’m very disinclined to do bc it seems selfish, immature, cold. But this time it felt imperative if I were to have any peace at all. Then along came Matt with his words of wisdom. What a relief! It always amazes me how a seemingly small shift in perspective can have such a profound effect. What a gift! Henceforth, I shall apply this advice without any sense of smallness because Matt has taught me that setting boundaries by claiming sovereignty is a win-win when we share it. Another thing: The hour will come when those who defend the status quo and all the false narratives (and in my personal orbit, think I’m bat-shit crazy and even dangerous for standing against them) will enter a crisis of cognitive dissonance. It’s inevitable. The truth of the utter corruption & harm that the elite powers have wrought upon us is dripping out daily now. When finally it becomes undeniable, many people will be thrown into a terrible, frightening tailspin. They will need us to catch them when they fall; to guide them through. And WE will need our EMPATHY to have the strength to lovingly help them through and not sit in smug satisfaction that we were “right.” SOVEREIGNTY NOW enables us to call upon our empathy without losing our strength. Heartfelt thanks to you Matt and to our Ever-Loving Creator.💕

Thank you ,thank you ,thank you Matt ,dear soul .I wish to share this story with you .In absolute despair ,after half a lifetime of trying and trying and trying so many creative ways to heal a particular challenge and my body so sick and years of struggling alone ,asking for help and it not arriving .I wanted to be free and to leave this earth .I was weak with flu together , with an infection of a wound under my ribs ,for several days ,I had not been able to eat .For two days ,I wept and prayed for either a miracle or to be allowed to pass away .I thought perhaps in a few days ,I could fade away through lack of food . It was strange , I lost my fear of death .Stranger still and oh so wonderful ,I heard "I am that I am " The voice ,which sounded like my own ,surprized me and I wondered ,what do these words really mean ? As I pondered this , I heard " Much of which you have carried for so long ,is not yours " .I was encouraged to try again .Wow Matt ! Beautiful grace !
