I like the idea of making quick decisions and moving on. Otherwise, I just get stuck and don’t get much accomplished.

I am sooo mentally and emotionally paralyzed when it comes to decluttering..Thank you so much for all that you do. I will definitely be using the signs. Again, you are so appreciated for sharing your amazing vision and gift to the masses.

Just found you and so happy to have something easy to help focus. I love your tone, and energy! I talk fast and I connect with you speaking my language! - and directing me… “small space, and when basket is full, stop and deal with it”. You give permission to leave things out and finish later - I’m only going to set aside a certain amount of time, 4 hours or however long, exactly what I need for My Life to actually make organizing work, if that’s possible?😂 Excited to watch your other videos! Thank you!

Fantastic Advice! I help stage for Estate Sales, and I find that people just don't know where to start. Your method works for both large and small projects! ❤D

I am going to declutter my closet today, and this was SO helpful. I also discovered I'm a cactus blossom! Thank you!

Thank you! I took your quiz and got Cactus Blossom. Your quiz and categories are more about how people organize in terms of time and appearance. Meanwhile, Cass from Clutterbug has a quiz on how people organize based on the amount of detail (micro or macro) and appearance (visual or hidden). I am a Bee there. Thank you!

Great Idea, but I believe an essential part of decluttering is always having an exit plan otherwise although you've cut down on the options you just end up moving the procrastination to another area or you end up with a room full of boxe's. So I would have Keep - rubbish - donate - sell. And tou need an exit plan so make sure you have the various exits in order, for eg contact charity shops or shelters and make arrangements for your things to be collected or dropped off, put your saleable items online and put your rubbish in your boot ready to go to the dump.

Hi Laura. Have you watched Cas from Clutterbug?? This is her well-known and original concept published in her books, TV show and KZbin channel where you can take a personality test to see what bug your organizing style resonates with. You just replaced bugs with flowers.

I love your advice of the 5 sorting decisions I need to make. You have inspired me to continue to declutter and organize more of my home.

I've been physically & mentally stuck with clutter & overwhelm since a break up, my Dad's passing, a bad auto accident, & Covid. I've never written a full list so I'm suddenly shocked to see it. I follow lots of #cluttergurus & your video clicked with me because you think like me. I know what I need to do, but I just keep getting overwhelmed by my abundance of paperwork. It's making me more depressed.

I'm sorry for your losses. I've been through the same things but please try to move on and have joy in your life. Decluttering is very helpful. It helps get the clutter out of your mind as well. I also follow Cas at clutterbug on you tube and all these different ladies are like friends there to help us navigate our Iives and they just help us and motivate us to be better, do better and to move on! Don't get stuck. One small thing at a time. I just did a junk drawer and just about threw everything out just to have some sort of clean and peace in my life! Then I ended up doing 3, and I feel so great and accomplished. Now for the paperwork, which I seem to like to ignore! Grrrr, but it's worth getting done. You feel so good. Find one of these videos on tackling paperwork. I've done it before and it helps. Sending good energy your way! ❤

I am in the process of decluttering my sewing / craft room. It is very overwhelming, but I am working through one box or tote at a time. Today is trash day & I'm mad at myself for forgetting to take a pic of all the bags I've gotten rid of. Oh well, on to decluttering more before trash day next wk. 😊

I get you. I have inheritance boxes, and it’s more than just those 5 questions for me. For my yarn, they really need to be sorted into sub categories (weight, color etc) before I can see I’ve only got one odd yarn that can be trashed or know I’ve got enough of a type that will take me 10 years to use so donate half of it. Keep working one box at a time, that’s smart.😊

Thank you for the quiz. Now I know why doing things one bit at a time doesn't work for me. I'm a Cactus Blossom! One and done is preferable. Or at least getting a good chunk done in one go. Thank you Thank you Thank you!

Paper should have its own process don't you think I'm the decision making process? I have trouble with Paper clutter, because when I go through it, it's all over, you are not going to ever sell or donate Paper. The questions would be different on sorting. I think that's where I have trouble because surprisingly enough I've had to dig out old receipts years later for items items you wouldn't expect. Or for the purpose of date tracking something. So I think how long show I save a receipt, an instruction manual, proof of insurance billing, explanation of billing from insurance, bill statements, especially since online they only let you have access to the pass 2 years ago if you need the history you are out of luck unless you've been saving it yourself. How long should you save or how should you file business cards? Bill collectors documents... tax documents... retiement paperwork... car insurance, Etc... all those papers that come in the mail. I've tried pretty hard to switch mostly everything to paperless, but many things still send mail for a lot of things and it adds up. And those things are important, but I'm not sure for how long. All I know is it accumulates so fast and takes up so much space and is heavy in boxes every time I have to move.
