Holly crap! My arthritis could never handle doing that tedious work for one cookie! Maybe one strip, that's about it! I would sell each cookie for 10$ each! Lol! Do they have machines they can do that for you? Good job and beautiful work as usual!

Marian Sweetopia Those were kind of what I was thinking as well, but more like the larger accent cables done with a whole bunch of the little stitches. It would take forever! Going for an entire cookie filled with the rope-style plus straight cables, maybe try icing ropes between the verticals, the kind usually used for borders (which look like that style of cable) and texturing everything a bit with a needle tool once they just barely start to crust over? I'd say "ridiculously tiny star tip" except I don't think they make them that ridiculously tiny. These are still definitely some of the cutest knit cookies I've seen, and perfect for the season! I'm sorry if my comment came across condescending, I really didn't mean it that way at all.

Wow! Beautiful! I get inspirarion from your designs when I decorated cookies at Christmas. But my problem is the dough. Is there a way to keep the cookies crunchy even with icing?
