I tried to build this deck. Some cards for consideration, Fury kills the manglehorn and Dauntless Dismantler that destroy this deck, sensei's top turns your impulse into actual draw, possibly a good commander for snoop lines since you can exile the cards once the line gets interrupted

You could try and pronounce "NBA" as much as you want but you'll look special at best. Now SCUBA is both an initialism and an acronym. I didn't know any of this until a few years ago. So yes. Red is an acronym. But you didn't ask for that.

Disagree with Cal on fetches. Thinning is statistically not relevant at all in 100-card singleton decks if you aren't able to make multiple land drops a turn or aren't able to chain multiple extra turns. The most you get out of it is a shuffle, which can be relevant in some situations but is very much less so in cEDH when the card quality and rate of card advantage are both very high. In mono-red, you're better off running mountains.

That’s not how math works. Every percentage of deck thinning does mathematically make your “outs/wincons” more likely to be drawn into. Every little bit mathematically helps.

@@dgreenlonghorn1 that's not how math or statistics work. The standard test for significance is a deviation of 5%. A first turn fetch changes your deck size by 1/91, significantly lower than 0.05. If fetch thinning was statistically significant, you'd see fetches everywhere in monocolor decks in 60 card formats. They're not. Monored burn runs only nearly all mountains. Monogreen tron runs Boseiju, Urza lands, and Forests. Mono White weenie runs mostly Plains with an occasional utility land choice. Fetches enable you to color fix which increases your consistency. Thinning effects do not exist in any significant capacity. Feel free to use your blinged out fetches in your monocolor decks all you want, I and your opponents thank you for lowering your life total and increasing the potential for a shuffle into a flood.

I will say, and I have raised eyebrows everytime I hear it being said about oppo. I have straight won every game I slam an oppo down the first fetchland as shutting down colored mana in a world where almost 75% of kept lands are fetch on turn 1 or 2 is an extreme momentum swing. JS lol
