It has been 5years since I've last used my pc. And I was suffering from its performance, it was causing sudden crashing, and lagging horribly inbetween my gaming sessions. I have not yet tested this, but this looks legit, and it is reassuring that you did it yourself as if you are trying to scam us then you have it too, further proving your honest. As a guy who recently had this(early today in fact), I fell for the “toll free Microsoft support” to remove the Trojan spyware. Now not only did I have the virus, but also the screen share function. I managed to delete the screen share function after my mouse stopped moving of its own accord, and now the last thing I have to do is follow these steps. My heart dropped when the virus came up, and it won’t rise until the issue is fixed, so hopefully this does work. Sorry for the long message on KZbin, I was just worried and wanted to vent my feeling of anxiousness and paranoia. I don’t expect anyone to read this, but it helps me feel a little bit better, and will help me sleep tonight as I cannot access my computer now(it is in a room where people are sleeping). My parents do not know that I got it, and I won’t tell them unless i cannot fix the issue, as even tho I only got it from downloading audio clips for my video, I think they will still be a bit annoyed. Therefore, I write this message to make me feel better without telling my parents, as even though I then won’t have to deal with it, I will cause them more work, having already asked my dad to fix the Wi-Fi for my computer(it wasn’t connecting) which took him 2 full days and around 6 phone calls from 5 different companies. Once again, I say thank you to anyone who has read this far, and I thank this man for uploading this video as it will save me a lot

This is so good to do, even if you don't know of any viruses on your computer. I just got a Totally Legit popup telling me I had a virus and I had two minutes to download an extension to scan/delete it... so I came here to see if there was a quick way to remove anything nasty without falling into an obvious trap. So i tried the Temp windows + r to delete some stuff, and there are some files i cant delete even when i try to bypass adminstrator permissions it still doesn't work. Is this malware or virus? The files I try to delete some of them say cant delete because of wmiprvse.exe is open

Same here I think maybe it's bcuz of a different virus my PC had trf.exe I think so we might need to get help or something 💀

@@syedashah8168 yeah no clue what these files are, I only got one account and it does say I’m an “Administrator”. No clue why I don’t have permission to remove it. I repeated the steps mentioned in the video, but I skipped those parts that I couldn’t clean up.
