to anyone who was confused like me, you just need to go into the "My files" option on the left of the screen. I got confused because I was in "Home" and you can't delete files from there

50 is the max items you can remove from recyle bin at one time. in case you get confused why "delete permanently" isn't an option when you select a bunch of files / items.

Love your accent, Andy 👍🏼! - Reminds me of my time at Stirling University a long time ago. - Could you tell me how to delete files from "Home" rather than from "My Files"?

Thanks very much and sorry for the late reply. The files within ‘My Files’ will include files that you have opened which may or may not be owned by you. If they’re files that have been shared with you by someone else then you’ll probably not be able to delete them.

For an empty recycle bin microsoft account should be paid or not please answer I am not able to empty the recycle bin think because it has no subscription write?

You should be able to empty it, yes, and this shouldn’t require a premium paid account. Not sure why you can’t empty yours, though. Sorry!
