Me the car detailer : Spray heavy coat of very light soapy water...including air vents. Scrub tight areas with a tooth brush. Wipe down entire area with a teri cloth.. Hold the cloth in front of an air gun and blow the vents and tight areas dry.. blowing the dirty moisture into the cloth. The light soapy water really dislodges the dirt/grime from the plastic surface. Very effective. Saves a lot of time and energy . The air gun is the key to success. I do the same with the vinyl dressing and it comes out superb !

Thank you very much for sharing that we had tried them sometime back and it actually had left a residue on one of the screens on a touchscreen that we could not remove so we had to replace it, so now we just stick with what we’re doing, you have to be very very careful on Dash stuff because you never know what will react to lenses or plastic or who knows what

Thanks for another great video. Had some questions: 1. Does the Coconut Mix soap leave the dash oily/greasy? I don't like stuff like ArmorAll because of it leaving that oily/greasy mess behind. 2. In the past when I tried feather dusters, it just moved the dust all over the place. I have had great luck with the Swiffer duster, it grabs all the dust. I don't know if it would scratch the plastic gauge lens or not. Have you tried it? Will that scratch the clear plastic? Thanks for your great channel.

I want uv protection but don't like the glare from a shiny dashboard. Guess I need a dash cover.

@SweetProjectCars7 жыл бұрын
Truck Try the wax we used in this video (see tools used) if that does not work then use this, amzn.to/2C18A9Z follow the directions on the jar and you will be good to go..it will take some elbow grease but you will get it..

One comment to add. Put Endust on your feather duster. Give it a liberal spray. Then place your duster in your duster into a plastic bag over night. The next day use your feather duster and you will see the dust stick on the duster instead of the dust going everywhere. Take it outside and give it a good shake to clean. Try it. you will like it!
