@8:19 candidate = student. Initiate = teacher. Steiner says initiate may only communicate w/candidate in secret language. Maybe like a deaf person who’s very experienced w/sign language (teacher) and can only speak in this form to another as they learn (student) but more they know and use the language they can ‘talk’ to the teacher more clearly. Listen up to your times again.

The student remains the candidate, but there is no teacher. The Initiate was just a realization (the authentic self) that became sudden knowledge in the so-called now - obliterating former belief or faith. It's not like you can run over to the next town looking for a teacher of _____ and sign up for a class. The teacher in this case is some obscure but certainly present something-or-other and has no symbolic language - more like symbolic know in the soul without words or design. The only thing I find that is close to learning how to interpret on one's own self is alchemical. This means searching out texts that will gradually fill in the blanks. And some of the texts are at odds with each other in some ways depending on the so called teacher. I have an expectation of consistency more so in these matters than in the modern day sciences that has developed out of these esoteric processes. So the question I suppose is - with a world with no teachers - and a knowledge of a start always finding its end - is it nothing more than paying attention? Thanks again for the reply.

I am the same. To my understanding, one must develop certain tools in order to understand what is put forth to the student during initiation phases. I am not in position to answer with certainty. But choosing to be an initiate on the path is what you were to to discover during this incarnation. Because You are the one choosing. There are many paths to the summit. But ultimately they all lead to the same source. It just depends on who and what tools you use to light the path to reach it. Following the spiritual path is made easier by following an experienced traveler. Learning to decipher which impulse is bearing down upon you and humanity will allow one to remain an observer not a participant. Being able to "see" in ways others cannot and because they are choosing not to see. They remain in Maya materialistic world. Just as in fruits, vegetables and grain seeds. Some are harvested for food and others are left to their own accord to die off leaving seeds for further life to continue. And those seeds will give fruit to be harvested in other incarnations. Human consciousness is the same. Choose good and for the benefit of humanity and you will never be led astray. When the rose adorns itself, it adorns the garden. There is no fastpath, its gradually. The timing of the universe is divine and perfect. You have to trust the process. From understanding to knowing.
