Nice work guys... After watching this video (will also follow up your link for elements) I think I have a faulty grill element that trips the RCD due to the element shorting to earth 1-2 minutes after the grill and fan-assisted oven is switched on (thermal expansion I think). I assume the fun assisted oven automatically switches on the grill element as well. I'll open up my Siemens oven and investigate, ALWAYS with SAFETY in mind! Thanks and keep up the good work!

Great vid! I need to fix my oven tomorrow. I have a question about the "one shot thermostat"... If it has activated and gone open circuit - can it be reset?... I think what has happened is the fan packed up which made the oven over-heat. Have I got to buy a new "one shot"?

Could you help me out please. We have a Kenwood CK418SL Electric Halogen cooker with double electric oven. The Cooker hob top works fine, however there are no indicator lights, no running fan, heating in the oven at all (Basically the oven is dead). Wednesday the Oven was running fine, Thursday we went to use it, it was dead, no life at all. Would this be the Oven Thermal Cut out or something else. We haven't used the timer, no RCD trips, and as said the top part of the cooker (the electric Hob) is working fine, so not a mains supply problem. Any suggestions greatly appreciated. Mark

Great video, unfortunately does not fix my Zanussi ZCE 7700x which has a thermostat 46THC15/F5. This thermostat has been replaced by a a ET51001/F5. THis requires the wiring to be re-arranged in different manner (instructions included with unit). I have now fixed the oven and it is working fine.

I recently bought a 2nd hand cooker. It's a Flavel Milano E60 ML61CDS. It is an induction hob cooker with a separate grill & oven. It's on an RCD in the fusebox (80A 30mA) The hobs work fine and don't cause any issues. Both the grill and oven will trip the RCD however they don't trip it straight away. They only trip once they are warm. The oven bizarrely will start fine from cold but trip when you turn off the knob powering it. Oven lights and fans work fine. My old cooker didn't have any issues with the RCD, so I don't think that it's a problem. I was thinking of changing the elements but 2 simultaneous element failures seems unlikely. Any ideas what to look into?

Hello, yes this video is very helpful and I would like if you can help me to sort out my DeLonghi oven. When you put oven to preheat, after 5-7 min of work will shut off all even light on the panel. Then, after a few 2-3 min, will turn on again. What, do you think I need to check in this case? I will be very grateful if you can help me. Thank you.

My cooker works as it should regarding heat, clock etc but when I set the timer it counts down but no longer beeps when it recjhes zero. Any ideas as to why? Could it be that I have hit something when setting or cleaning? Thanks, regards, Joanne. PS It's a hotpoint by the way!

Hello, can anyone help me? I have Gorenje Ora Ito oven and it won't turn on. The biggest issue is that the system keeps beeping, while constantly showing/blinking an error/fault code of F26-F28.
