Between this video and another I watched on tearing down the brew group to get the shower screen out and clean, I spent a couple of hours refurbishing my Saeco 8765 today and it is now running like new. Far better flavor than this morning, and it doesn't sound like it's going to tear itself apart anymore! Appreciate the well done video!

Thank you so much! I've revived my machine because of this. It was completely cluttered and now it's working as new. Just one tip: you do not need to disassembly the top cover completely, where the water and the coffee compartment sits down. You just need to turn it sideways, putting it over the machine while keeping the water sensor and the water hose attached. Thanks again!

I also didn't need to disconect the hose and sensor on my model which made it easier for me

Only disconnect water hose, enough space to work for all screws.

Thank you so much !!! Saeco/Philips/Gaggia want us to buy their "coffee oil remover" pills but it is not enough! In fact even if you do periodic maintenance as written in their manuals coffee machine will start having problem so busy people or people with no technical skills will buy a new coffee machine. In our business we use these automatic coffee machines since 10 years and we have tasted different ones... it is a shame that model after model it is always more complicated to do certain maintenance works! This is great instruction that you provide in this video, you should maybe produce other videos on the same machine and also other brands of espresso machine showing videos of you removing different components, so for example a video showing removal and replacement of the water pump or replacement of hoses in unit, so each component is a new video and maybe videos of cleaning procedures on different models as well, continued success. It worked. As I feared, the dispenser was completely gunked up which is why I always had the water dripping in the drip tray. Finally good coffee again :)

@@Coppermind343 my machine is also around 5 years old, did this clean today, it actually wasn't terrible. Almost exactly the same amount as in this video. Brew does actually taste notably better now. My machine hasnt given me a single issue. Just managed to get a Jura E6 insanely cheap so I thought I'd give my minuto a Clean before selling it
