Anyone have any idea why my CVT doesn't have the pieces sticking out or gears in the middle and why I don't have the bolts to undo like he does? It looks like it, but there aren't any bolt holes. Have a Blade 150cc. I don't think it is GY6. Made by Vitacci

Have you ever see. The shaft that goes to the reverse gear box snap in half? I think that is the issue with my daughters.

You have a variator shaft and a clutch shaft, they are 2 different shafts. The variator shaft connects to the engine and the clutch shaft connects to the gearbox and through gears to another shaft which connects to the back wheel.

And you can change anything you want, some things are just a bit hard to change because you need special tools.

Does anyone know how to put a belt pulley on the crank to power a super charger? Is there a kit? I have the super charger the intercooler . Pop off valve and piping . But need to figure out how to drive my charger.. help anyone?

Hi, my original SYM jetpower 125 is an 828 19, but I still have a Powerlink 835 20 laying around from a previous project. Would it be possible to install it on my SYM ? Or it has to be the same exact size !!!? Thanks man.

Can I take parts from a 150cc short case engine and put them on a 150cc long case engine

YES, they both use the same gasket set thus MOST parts. HOWEVER, the only thing can't interchange due physical, length long case and short case, will be the actual left side of the crankcase and it's CVT Cover. See ex. engine gasket set both long case and short case parts fit: ncystore.com/ncy-engine-gasket-57.4mm-set-gy6 NOTE: This applies to all GY6 gasket sets.

My variator nut wouldnt come out.the engine has only 2000 miles.i have used my powerful impact wrench and its impossible to remove..Any suggestion pls.i want to replace the rollers..thank you

One Love sorry for the late response but have you tried using some Blue Torch by WD-40 that might help loosen variator nut and hit with Impact Ranch again. It might be some buildup from some previous Loctite you can probably use a real heat torch lastly if that doesn't help loosen it.

NCY STORE ....Yes..it did...This a taiwanese gy6 150 cc that had been left outside on a scooter for almost 3 years ,totally exposed to sun and rain.This liquid wrench is amazing.i used the yellow label one.Thank you so much .

When changing gear ratio it's like metaphorically changing the bike gear ratio and the stroker is you leg kicking the pedal so those two have to be balance together, it will probably help the low end torque power. Power gain might be slightly more if it's depending on the terrain usage, that's hillside climb riding 15*37 gear ratio.

if stock is 13*40 for 50 to 60mph 15*37 should guive automatic more speed

Sliding handle is the 4" length but the whole sliding Rod it's probably no more than feet and a half length.

Someone please help. I am a mechanic by heart. I can fix nearly anything and have repaired many cars, atvs , trucks over the years. My issue is I have 150cc taotao gy6 with a CVT. I just bought a new replacement CVT since the old one was giving me the same issue. New variator, new belt, new clutch. The issue I have is it will not go past 20mph. Also I noticed as riding the variator and clutch are not engaging correctly. The variator should raise the belt and the clutch should lower the pulley right. Well while riding I left the cover off to watch and its not engaging. So I put the 4 wheeler on bricks to test it and revved the motor its engaging correctly. When the 4 wheeler has weight on it its not engaging but when the weight is off it is. This is a new CVT and the old one was doing the same thing. Anyone have a idea whats going on. Only thing I haven't checked is the gearbox
