7:07 don't use a knife to unseat the LCD connector (or any of the delicate ribbon cables either, for that matter). Also don't pry it from one side. That thing is delicate and it's usually reinforced with hot glue, although that is conveniently already disengaged in this video. Use a toothpick under the whisker wires to lift from below. Before reseating that connector later, inspect the connector and make sure it's straight. If it's bowed, it won't make good connection at both ends, and either LCD won't work at all, or the LCD hinge position sensing switches won't work and your display will appear upside down. Lastly, make sure the wrapped white part of that cable routes neatly around the screw flange right next to it and make certain that you don't pinch that cable or let it sit in front of the screw hole when you close up the camera.
