Cleanest adaptation of the Internet. It could reduce the size of the internal connection cables between the antenna board and the Starlink router as it has resources for new clippings on the connectors and make everything just one piece. Vice gave 10 x 0 in the projects for flat use of the antenna. CONGRATULATIONS. Edited. With your demonstration, you showed another way that is much easier for those who have experience in cutting wood using a bench circular saw. Just protect the part of the plate very well and slide the saw firmly against the side support of the circular saw well calibrated at the height to the minimum necessary to section the two parts. Precise cutting is very clean. Professional service.

Hey @adeelkhanadventures9010, do you know if it can be slimmed down a bit at all? Is there enough clearance between the connector and the inner surface of cover? I have this crazy idea of sticking it to the inside of my sunroof while allowing for the latter to slide into the roof still.Thanks.

It is definitely the best way I've seen to adapt starlink for VR use, waiting for the final result of how it is already perfected. What speed does it give you using it under the glass? because if there is not much difference, much better to use it inside the vehicle than outside, Greetings from Colombia.

Also note my window are tinted with ceramic tints and still no issues. 2 months tested so far.

you mentioned providing a pinout of the connector to dishy, would be very helpful to have that! Also, which cable are you using to connect back to the dish with the (ZPDR-10V-S) white connector - is that the cable that is threaded thru the stand or is that part of the long cable that connects between the dish stand and original modem box? Thanks for sharing!

Sorry about the pin out part, I’ll update that tomorrow in the video but I matched all the colors that you will find on the connector that’s connected to dishy inside. I cut the cable from the side that connects under the dishy, the modem side is angled and not worth it unless you mod needs it, I used a dremel to sand out the excess part of the connector. All colors in the cable are exactly the same that’s inside the dishy already.

I see that the system works receiving satellite signals through the FRONT windshield of a Tesla - have you tried it with the satellite signals coming through the roof/top glass on a Model 3/Y? Hey, just a quick question. I am wondering how much current draw the 12V and 48V portion actually uses. I notice you only used a 3A 12V converter so I guess it must use less than that? Not the best video or setup. There are way better videos on youtube than your setup. First desolder the motor jack you don't need it you will save space that way. Second desolder the big bottom chip and one resistor on the left side the board that way you can power the dish directly with 12 volts from your car you won't need a 48 DC converter that wastes power. Third buy a 90° jack for your ethernet cable and buy flat cat8 cable and crimp a new cable that way you will lower your profile even more. Forth get a better thinner backplate ready made there a few sold on ali express which are quite good and you will have a way better thinner dish. Fifth get rid of that big bulky useless starlink router and buy a third party wifi 7 router from ubiquity. And that's the final procedure so enjoy your new 4mm thick dish.
