I used this tutorial to make a runner for my living room console and it turned out to be the exact length! Took me forever bc the chord was so long pulling it through lol so took lots of breaks but it turned out soooo good! Thank you for your awesome vids! I’d post a pic of the end result but not sure how to do that lol

Just made a version of this for a Mother's Day gift. It turned out really cute. I modified the pattern to make it a bit easier. All those hitch knots take a bit of time and I was working with 3mm cord so it's not super wide. I'd do it next time with 4-5mm but still I'm super happy with it.Thanks for the lesson!

I'm so glad I found your channel! Your style gives me so much inspiration!! I've been wanting to find some items at the thrift store to diy and make into boho/minimalist decor or actual useful items, if you're ever short for ideas I think that would be so fun! I'm having a hard time finding many crafts to do in that style online besides macrame. I love your Christmas diys too!

That looks super stylish on your table, isn't it a good place to show off your macrame work!! I haven't got a table space for one but l wonder how it would look at the end of the bed. Maybe layered on top of the actual bedding, with a blanket underneath it, then finish with the runner uppermost. I think that might work! ☺️

I did macrame in the 1970s----rather than working with the very long lengths, we wound them infinity shaped and held with rubber bands. Just work the knots larger then pull together. Makes it go much faster.

I would love to know what size cord you used. My hubby sent this to me because he liked it and thought it would look good on our new table. I agree. I am a seasoned at macramé but I could not tell what size cord you used. 5mm or 4mm is my guess.

So I have never done any macrame before but I love this project! Do you think this would be too ambitious for a first project? If so, do you have a video of yours that you might recommend me to start with? I really want to try this and also my dining table is pretty long so it would have to be really long!
@EmilyFaith4 жыл бұрын
Hi and its so fun that you want to get into macrame! I do have a couple beginner videos that might help you get familiar with macrame but if you follow along in this video you could pull it off. What ever your comfortable with. It's always easier to learn knots before hand.

Hello, please I need some advice, for a job of 80 cm in length, how long should each rope be? Thanks a lot 😊🌻
@lizbee7264 жыл бұрын
As a rule of thumb if you multiply the finished length by 6 that's length you need to cut each cord. But of course it depends on the pattern and how much knotting there is. Good luck! 😁🙏
