This is the most clear, and easy FBA explanation I've seen. Now I can finally do an FBA. Thank you so much!!

Does this method work for a dress? Is there a reference chart to show how much to spread?

I've been wanting to make a chef's apron with a wider front and darts to accommodate a full bust. This was very helpful! Thank you.

Hi there, this was very clear, thank you! I have one question: the change distorts your armscye a bit, and that distortion will get worse with a larger adjustment. What do you recommend to fix that? Thank you!

Thank you for watching! Because of the hinge at the armscye it shouldn’t distort the arm hole at all! That’s why the hinge is there. Hope that helps

Hi thanks for your tutorial. I've gone an 1.5 inch FBA. When I move the the pattern apart to form the two parallel lines the armsyce moves upwards. How would you adjust for this please? Thanks

How can you do a FBA and not widen the bottom hem do you grade down at an angle? Thank you.

I would definitely angle back down. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching 💛

The dart end should be 1 to 2” away from apex. Other then that this is a good video
