I just bought the Nissan spec spark plugs. Don't have to worry if they're right or not. Didn't take the wiring harness off. Went one at a time. Torqued to spec. My 2010 Altima runs perfectly.

Hardly a tune up, just spark plug change

Just a minor one.

Unfortunately, that's what a lot of shops/dealerships consider a tune-up and charge a crazy amount of money. Another reason I'm a fan of DIY. Spark plugs, PCV valve, air filter, cabin air filter, and ignition coils, if needed can all be bought for $100 or less. Shop on Amazon or use coupon codes from Advance Auto or Auto Zone etc. and you're winning. The spark plug socket I bought off Amazon for cheap as well.

I have that oil leak you mention about 2.5 minutes into the video , how do I source that gasket ?? Much appreciated
@micahibale77334 жыл бұрын
I had to change my head gasket and PCV valve and bought it from the dealer. It’s more expensive, but I heard bad things about people using other brands and they end up buying from the dealership anyways

@ryanwilliams76004 жыл бұрын
At the very least change those spark plugs every 100k miles. Super cheap and easy. Id say unless the ignition coils are bad dont change them. I think when priced them out they were $100 each.

@@JimmyR83 Thanks. I already had the plugs. I did order the ignition coils from Amazon. I think they were like $60 for all four. Found oil in spark plug tube 1 and 4. This simple tune up turned into a valve cover job. Ordered the valve cover from Amazon as well. The parts will be delivered in a few days
