Very cool art, Ashley! Good to meet you on Doris' live today!! I've subscribed (although I'm not a resin artist). I hope to see you on Tish's lives ( The Artist's Haven ) (she was Doris' moderator on tonight's live). Tish goes live 6 days per week. You will probably like her Wednesday "Artapalooza" nights, where 4-6 artists make art and often at least one person works in resin. Also, if you haven't seen Heather Mader at Heather Mader Art, she does a live every Friday at 5:00 pm PT (West Coast time). Ashley, we have a BLAST on all of these lives and see some super art being created while being able to ask the artists questions and get live answers, so please come join the fun. I would love to see you there! Hugs ~Cheryl

Thanks for subscribing!!! I will definitely have to check those channels out. I loved how supportive you all were for Doris. She is so sweet! 🥰 I used to go live once a week but that stopped when I started watching my nice and nephew (2 and 5) they are a handful but only three more days then I get my vacation and then I'll be back to normal hahaha so maybe I'll get to see you in my live too! 🥰

@@abstractboss Ashley, you are most welcome! I understand about caring for 2 and 5 year olds! A total handfull!!! Doris and I moderate for Tish. I also moderate for Heather Mader of Heather Mader Art. Heather streams live every Friday night at 5pm PT (west coast time). It usually runs about an hour. Please come join the fun there, too. I look forward to see you again soon, Ashley! Please be sure to say "hello." Happy painting!

Enjoyed the video very much! A couple of questions- do you wear a respirator? If so, what kind? And, you have a number of different resins listed so I assume they are all good. Do you use certain resins for certain projects or does it matter? Which one has the least smell? Thank you! I just joined your FB group.

Hey Donna! Glad to have you in the group! Yes I got one from Home Depot and it has the changeable filters on it. If I’m working in my garage and the door is open then sometimes I don’t wear it but I always recommend wearing one. The least smelling one I’ve found so far would be art resin (has a sweet smell) countertop epoxy and stonecoat have light smells, and puduo didn’t have much of a smell either. I’m still working on trying every resin I come across.

Oh and I do use certain ones for certain projects. I love counter culture diy for a faster cure, ks resin is like art resin (hard to yellow so it’s great on white projects but takes longer to cure) and art with resin is flexible, I use them all. If it has white though I lean towards the ks
