No nonsense video, as a mechanic I will offer a tip if you dont have a torque wrench, for the oil pan drain plug. use a sharpie or even white out and put a mark at the bottom of the plug (6 o'clock position) when you put the plug back in make sure its in the same position that way you know its tight enough and didn't over tighten it.

I’m never a safety Karen but please always use jack stands as a backup to ramps. I’m an EMT and have had a call where ramps failed and the guy did not make it..

I’ve heard far more often stories of jacks and jack stands failing or just falling due to improper setup/use. But either way, as long as you set them up properly and use sound equipment, you’ll be fine.

The oil filter on my 2017 is not located in the same spot as yours mine is higher up on the side

you should always change it @ 5k miles no matter what oil you use. That helps prevent the screens on the turbo fittings from clogging.

If you use a synthetic blend, depends on the car and the oil, but you should change your oil around 3k or 5k. If you use full synthetic you should change your oil every 6k.

With a turbo I would change it at 5k with low volatility oil like Amsoil or Pennzoil ULTRA Platinum. I would not use conventional oil in an engine with a turbo.@@TheBurnoutShow

No. The 2.0L takes 5w30. The 1.5L and 2.5L engines take 5w20.
