GIRL I LOVE how you explained the power of core beliefs, how they affect big areas of your life, and how they are connected to some experience or learned by someone modeling certain behavior or whatever.. ALL OF THAT SAID TO SAY YOU TOTALLY WOULD BE INTERESTED AND INTO EMDR!!! I am a clinical therapist and I was trained in EMDR two years ago and it is so phenomenal, and I'm really grateful that I decided to watch this video and you explained that the way you did because I have learned about EFT before but it was not taught in a way that did it justice. Thanks lady! You're special af

I love this video! Thank you so much. I am enjoying your content. You mentioned that you always felt like you had a stuffy nose and a cold etc. I have been experiencing that as of late as well as my asthma coming back. Intuitively I feel like this stuffiness is related to my mental health etc. And I'm curious why you mentioned why you always felt stuffy in your nose, etc? Can this manifest physically like that

Hi Hailey! Love this video!! I just have one question: After the first round of tapping, squeezing of the wrist, deep breath, break neural pathway, think of the fond memory/something funny, do you tap again? Or just squeeze wrist and take deep breath after the fond memory to finish the session?

How do I get rid of stress and constant anxiety.. The problem is I don't know what the reason is.. Stress tired me out a lot and affected my digestive system. What do I focus on when I apply the technique?
@starlalaurenrose3 жыл бұрын
Haley, whose technique is this originally? I'm curious as it's not the original EFT technique, especially going from the negative emotion to forcing positive, happy fun thoughts to tap on? The og is tapping on the actual emotion, It's amazing that this technique works really well as well don't get me wrong, just confused xx

I love the idea of thinking of something funny. I am a huge fan of various comedians. Also love to think of animals doing absurd things. Can’t wait to implement this. One short question when out in public and feeling an emotion can I do the quick eye technique with my eyes closed?

I'm great a burying feelings (well they manifest in other things), so the bit I don't really get is how after finally tapping into / finding a feeling then you tap and bury it again. How is that helping you 'get curious' or explore or unpack a feeling. What is step 2. E,g. if I have a bad feeling I can eat toast or crips and like magic all the bad feelings are managed. I may be stout but my feelings are put in their place. Is EFT a version of eating crisps to bury pain / uncomfortable or challenging emotions?
@haleyhoffmansmithmusic3 жыл бұрын
EFT itself clears the emotion- so it’s set free rather than buried

Love all your videos!! Do you have any tips for someone wanting to break into the copyrighting business who has no experience? (besides a writing internship like 8 years ago 😆)

This was so helpful! So when you do multiple rounds of eft, when you go back to do your second round do you make yourself feel the emotion as intensely as possible again before going back for round 2
@haleyhoffmansmithmusic3 жыл бұрын
Yes! As intensely as you can. Almost always, the emotion has gone down. Ask yourself how strong it is on a scale of 1-10. It can completely go away in as little as one round!
@stephaniek90713 жыл бұрын
Does anyone else feel a lot of resistance letting the painful emotion go? Even after I move through all the steps I'm still upset about it. Would love any advice!
