Holy crap, you explained this so darn well. I love that you used the correct terminology, not dumbing it down but just slowing it down and explaining why it's the motion it is. It really shows how well you understand it and how much time you've spent researching and practising. I really felt these cars well, and after your vid I see that I've been doing them not nearly as effectively as I could, and all because you actually taught.

I feel these CARs are great for any active or inactive people, who want to keep their body from deforming as they age. This should get so much more exposure, keep up the good work!

Absolutely - CARs are a great tool for everyone. Maintaining joint health and range of motion is so important. Thank you!

Wow! After doing a few reps of these I could raise my right shoulder almost straight up! I haven't been able to do that in months!

I love how these are range of motion based, steady and fluid. I can already feel the difference stretching has made. Thank you!

Wow. Worked at really getting to the end range, rotating as far in the internal and external ranges during the entire motion, and holding tension.. Three reps of that and I can really feel the blood pumped into the entire shoulder joint

Great exercises. I'm struggling to remember the complex sequence when trying to repeat away from KZbin. Is there any harm performing one whole rotation overhead then reversed with an externally rotated shoulder all the way round. Then repeat with an internally rotated shoulder. ie alternate the exercise with internally then externally rotated shoulder? Thanks Is there any benefit to progressing to doing the exercises with light dumbells?

In the course do you educate what the movements benefit?

Hi, would these help with frozen shoulder if you just have little ROM?

Landscape shot videos are typically more aesthetically pleasing but I think this one in particular would've benefited from being shot in portrait so we could see clearly what her hand was doing at the top of the rotation.

It might be an aspect ratio setting on your phone or KZbin. I can see her hand.

How many reps do you recommend daily?
@toscanecoechea51052 жыл бұрын
Really great! How do you deal with clicking at the point of the rotation where you transition from internal to external rotation and vice versa?
@beardthebestyoucanbe2 жыл бұрын
As long as there is no pain or pinch associated with the clicking, that's okay. As you start to develop better mobility and tissue quality, little clicks and pops start going away. If there is ever any pain or pinch though, you'll want to shorten the range of motion so you bypass that. Never push through any range that creates pain/pinch

Alright. Got recommended by my chiro to do this so let’s do it daily. See how much injury prevention you can suggest in some martial arts 👌

How often should someone incorporate these movements would you say? Daily?
@beardthebestyoucanbe2 жыл бұрын
For CARs I recommend all my clients/students to do them every day. A full body CARs routine every day would be a great start

Really appreciate this exercise but struggling to work out which way the hand turns. Beard, it's a long shot to ask but is there a chance please that you can reshoot this closer up or perhaps with front of hand in a different colour to the back of the hand to eliminate confusion? (Zooming in and scrolling up and down in landscape on my phone is unfortunately not really working too well.)
