as a player who has won over 10 games in steel hunter, in my opinion the trap is not the most op consumable, the berserker is. once u activate it ur opponent has no chance what so ever, no matter what he does or what consumables he has. also i would say that the raven and the harbinger are the 2 best tanks.

Jfyi, regarding the 6th consumable; you will never get it from a green (or yellow), but there's a chance you can get it from a red (possibly determinant on whether or not the previous tank had one), and it's guaranteed from a blue.

On the German, I really love picking up the HP Chassis with the Armor Turret so then I can take the autoloader gun which can do around 1500 damage in one mag, intra-clip reload and the mag reload are also good.

Harbinger hands down best on avg. Fast enough to catch even the Arlequin and the "big gun" only takes 5s to load for 500 alpha, not to mention the crazy high pen. Have yet to not top 2 in it. The only time it really loses is if there is a full level varyag that has lots of its 6 heal ability. That heal is completely OP.

Some tips for guys who have trouble with it (for me this mode is most fun and very easy): 1. Raven is 1 of the best choice to roll out - go for engine power, auto loader and armor; with this u have a good compromiss of mobility and protection 2. avoid the fight as long as you can and lvl up ur vehicle up to minimum first autoloader 3. should be standard, but use ur radar every time you can; I recommend the one with 20s cooldown 4. When u are in close combat, use ur penetration indicator to find green points and shot. Never use autoaim except u circle the enemy and get green pen points. Dont hold back to use the more pen ammo 5. use ur consumables like heal urself or debuff enemys. Dont hold them back, use them if you think the enemy in front of you isnt a snack 6. Have fun. No joke, have fun and fight ur best. Dont be mad if losing, just choose another vehicle and go for the next. I needed 13 battles for lvl 15. Its easy and better than Frontline.

I totally agree. And for a even more relaxed gameplay, log in and finish daily missions every day. 15000 dmg and 1 kill over any number of games give you 1100 points, EVERY DAY! Pick a Raven or Harbinger and just go in and kill whoever you see until you die.

If you do 3, it is hard to do 2. When the mode first started, people were more passive and you could avoid fights early on. Now there is some serious aggression from the moment you spawn.

@@marktester5799 you can combine that. Even you spot yourself for the other ppl with pushing X but you need the info where the consumptions are and the spotted enemy's will help you to avoid them. Like you said, the most ppl are more passive at the beginning so they don't hunt you even you spot yourself with X. Info is much more important. Btw: if you meet a France vehicle in close combat, you can fight him. Arlequins are really underpowered, except non leveled.

Don't forget to heavily focus the rear of the turret when you're playing the Frenchie. The commander has the perk that does bonus crit damage so with the 10 shot clip you can often kill full HP tanks but popping a rounds into the back of their turret. I've killed 3000 HP german heavies within 4 shots (1.5 seconds) easily because of this.

My tipps: - wait for 2 or 3 seconds after spawn, as many loots are right around you - for the first couple minutes turn your turret always around you to spot enemies - basically always shoot gold ammo (except for frensh tank) as you will get enough ammo and you just auto aim at everything - always increase speed over armor as everyone will shoot gold anyways and you need to be fast to dodge shells (slow travel time) - never get double barrel or auto-reloader guns... they are usually worst than the single shot versions - towards the end, stay at the edge of the zone and snipe at two ppl fighting. always a guaranteed win

Nah definitely dont just shoot gold because you deal more damage with the normal rounds so just make sure you aim your shots and you usually beat anyone just firing gold because you can out dpm them. I do agree with avoiding the double guns or autoloader guns though, their alternatives are normally better, plus a good player will just use their heal vonsumable why you are reloading if you have an autoloader.

I wouldn’t say OP, but can be fun. I’d say the high alpha Harbinger is one of the most insane builds. I had a lot of fun in it, and imo it’s better than all the other builds. The only thing that will counter it is the OP raven trap, which is so good it will probably be nerfed

The thing that bothers me is you can only get progression points if you finish in the top 6 or so. A lot of the time I run into harbingers who focus me with berserker, or I get shot from behind right after killing someone and losing a bunch of HP. It seems that some players are blessed with having drops land right next to them in the beginning and that will virtually guarantee a top half finish. If you got points for finishing in the top 12 I think that would be more fair.

You also have 2 missions that also give you progression points. The first can be completed 5x per day and gives 200 points when you deal 3,000 damage over any number of battles that day. The second can only be completed once per day (I think) and gives you 100 points for killing 1 opposing tank.

To all the players who like me are average or below, you die so soon and frustration mounts. Play it for the training value, monitor the map and use the radar, look carefully for an escape route before you pickup ammo etc, air drops are valuable but dangerous so hide near the middle and finally shoot and scoot from a safe distance. Remember all tanks have 2 main weak points, back of the turret and engine. GLHF. MontanaJack

I didn't play Frontline, but this is my 1st Steel Hunter. I already made it to the lvl 15 and got the first 3 tokens. I play to play every month to get all 12 tokens to get one Tier 9 tank. Which would you recommend? AE Phase 1, Char Futur or Obj 777 II? 777 armor looks super trollish and looks like it can bounce a lot.....Thanks!!!

I don’t think QB knows that the credits shown at 1:50 are for each rank, not just 150000 for reaching rank 6 and nothing else. From ranks 6-9 you would get 150000 credits each rank which is 600000 credits total.

WOT PC should do what Blitz has done, and that’s to nerf premium ammunition. Nerfing premium ammo in damage means that P2W people would be less effective in battle. They would pay the money to penetrate more shells, but would also pay the price of doing reduced damage. For example, in blitz, a t57 heavy usually outputs 1200dmg in one clip (3 shot instead of 4), but if it spams prammo it would only average around 1020dmg in a clip (340 dmg per heat shell instead of 400).

Anubhav Mondal I hate the royal style gamemodes. Only doing it to get the tanks. Trap is nice but can be outplayed. Beserker is way better at doing actual damage. I save my "gold" rounds for it

As for the British vs the American, I found that personally, early game the British struggles a little in getting kills compared to the American with the auto loader mid way through the game where as the British needs to be really leveled up the become a monster
