I wonder if changing the clock on your pc and disconnecting internet would allow you to restore an unsigned iOS

Yes you can downgrade to ios 17.6 beta version. It is still signed.

I want to downgrade my ios 18.2 to ios 17.5.1 please help brother

This past week I put upgraded to 18.1.1 and had an email app that would not Fetch. I went to IPSW and the 17 images are all gone. I tried a factory reset and it put me back to 18.1.1. I went to the apple store with apple care and they informed me that you cannot go back from 18.1.1. I am not the not so proud owner of a BRICK of a phone.

@@alanreidapps Alan - Thanks I did not see that - I am downloading 17.7.2. Thank you for responding. When at the Apple Store seeking help they indicated there is no going back from 18.1.1. Is this just their own guideline and still possible to rollback? Pretty pompous to just indicate they cannot help me when I essentially have a useless 'Smart Phone'.

Alan - It looks like Apple has condemned me to their bug hell. I had this pop up 'The iPhone "BlaBlaBla" could not be restored. Declined to authorized this image on this device for this user". Isn't that special.

Not sure I understand what you mean, do you mean the battery doesn’t drain as much as on iOS18 ? If so, then yes it will change back.
