Ordered iPhone 13 the other day and exchanged my 7, but the problem here is I can’t set it up with the new camera feature that apple has given because I have to exchange the 7 with 13 so I need to backup all the data to pc and I don’t remember how to so that so I came here. One doubt is, after the backup, the backup consists of the data which has been backed up that day from the starting day of the phone only right. I mean the data which is external ( which was received after backup) won’t be saved right?

Thank you. I think this is what I was looking for. One thing I'm unsure of is when to remove the existing sim card from my old iphone to the new iphone. Could I go ahead to backup and restore from the computer's itunes backup to the new iphone (I'm moving from iphone 6 Plus to iphone 11) without the sim card and/or with no sim card in the new iphone and then put in the sim card (in the new iphone) after the backup is completed/transferred to the new iphone or do I have to put the sim card in the new iphone before backing up or what?

David Smith bro, You are most welcome. Sim card won’t matter much with your Backup. But if you are worried, eject the sim card for the time being on backup, then restore the new iPhone 11 from the back then insert the Sim card in the new iPhone.😊
