I just discovered you a few days ago while doing a search for mixed media classes. I think you are just what I need,not too structured, but with active critiques. I have some illness issues that keep me from being totally consistent, and I get the impression that if I miss a prompt or have to back off a bit, well that's ok. I have a B.A, but it doesn't do much good when the big holes in my head keep me from remembering. So, if it's alright, I will start with you Karen. I'm a little(ok, a lot) confused because suddenly, a number of projects from different people are starting projects, and knowing which ones to participate in. So I'm going to start with you and then work on from here. One of my issues is that I fall asleep while trying to communicate. So I'm going to try working with your group if that's ok . Blessings🙏🏼

Ah, Welcome!!! Before I forget, here's the link to my Shading Guide. Since this series I actually started a whole different KZbin Channel dedicated just to drawing. I'm doing a series there right now (I'm on week 12) and it's all on drawing from references - women from around the world! So that may be helpful and exactly what you're looking for. This #100funfabfaces challenge has proven to be a game changer for a lot of people though, especially the people who draw along with me each week! Same is true for this other series. So my best advice to you is to reallly just pick up a pencil and draw along! My drawing channel is kzbin.info and is dedicated to creating videos just like this one. Enjoy!

I got half way into the first video i played and my daughter showed up, and then someone else and someone else and so on. Then when all the bodies cleared out I somehow found myself on Amazon and that was when 💩 happened. One thing led to another and before I realized what was happening I was staring at the Jerry's Artarama home page and a headline saying their biggest sale in forever was ending in 2 hours. Great teacher. I love your tutorials. One thing though. We say a “fringe” in England and you say “bangs” in America. Any idea where the term “bangs” come from? Just an artistic wondering and wandering. Cheers. Xxxxxx

My first ever funfabface and I’ve loved doing it. My only problem is my eyelashes, my ink ran so they’re not so great. I used sharpies for the face and hair, what can I use for the eyelashes so they don’t bleed? Thank you so much for all these videos I have just stumbled upon. I know I’ll have lots of enjoyment doing these :-)

This was fun! I finished my face ... Now face number two is kind of the same as face number one but we switch up one thing? I've never done a prompt before.

So glad you had fun!!! You can literally do whatever you want, really (I'm not so into rules!) I just thought like, you could do the same face (for practice sake) but change one thing like the hair style! And then maybe you could try her in watercolors or just plain graphite! Have fun and play!

I have not experienced the Sharpie bleed?BUT I am not rushing this face! I have outlined with Sharpies and just added the base face colour ...I have used Touchnew skin white...which looks ok and not looking streaky on first attempt.

Sure thing, dont stress, just use what you have! Colored pencils would work fine if you have any of those! Or just even draw with a pencil!
