Hi Shayda! Love this video! I made my first card (since grade school) for Fathers' Day, using your techniques that I've learned and it came out great. It was so cute, I could barely stand myself! It was more of a cartoon type card with a goofy cat on the front. Cat you ask? Yes, my husband is a cat dad to my two cats. Thank you for the videos. How did you know I want to do a project featuring Big Ben? So, you're psychic too! So talented!

A suggestion: if you want to save money instead of buying the dark transfer paper, just use the side of your pencil to scribble on the back of the tracing paper drawing. Then transfer it. I use this instead of buying another unessesary thing(since I'm not a professional artist, I wish!) It can get a tiny bit messy, but it works for me, and may work for you! God bless you!

Try printing out graph paper in blackest black and check to see if you can see through your paper. Thus eliminating need for tracing.

Thank you Shayda! You've really helped me to improve my watercolor and drawing, I am very interested in architecture drawing so this tutorial is very appreciated!! One question about doodles in general: how to focus on features that make the building/flower/person recognizable and leave behind secondary features that don't need to be represented? Don't know if it makes sense hahah have a good day!!
