This was a cool video but as an artist I didn't learn anything at all. What kind of paper did you use, what side of the paper, smooth or rough. What pound was the paper, 60, 80, 100 pound drawing paper, vellum or bristol hot or cold press or was it sketch paper? Was it off white or royal brites? What type pencils did you use and how did you get started. There are a lot of unanswered questions here. I am an artist and wanted to find a tutorial that would help me with my clothing. I need to be more deep and realistic with my artwork. I'm good but could be a whole lot better.

You seemed to use a piece of leather to draw the first layer. Is it a must to use leather? Can I use cotton fabric instead?
@NolanClark7 жыл бұрын
What I have used is an old piece of t-shirt material :)

Great tutorial. What materials are you using eh?
@NolanClark7 жыл бұрын
I am using a set of pencils, photocopy paper, an eraser as well as a soft cloth
@Thewritingbutler7 жыл бұрын
Yes I see that, but I wondered if you use felt cloth, bamboo or chamois. And pencils: what grade? And what type of paper (you answered it thanks -- copypaper not textured). I see you were using kneaded eraser. For anyone starting out, a little more detail might be useful.
