The best character to study for anime expressions is Aang from TLAB. He’s bald so you can always see his whole head and he’s well drawn

One Piece is probably the best for seeing a vide variety of emotions on various facial structures and types. Oda is one of the only artists who doesn't stick to a similar basic shape for all characters and his creations tend to be extremely unique and brimming with character. Oh and of course, the exaggerated emotions, but also the subtle ones whenever needed.

I was a small boy when I found the 1967 book Cartooning the Head & Figure by: Jack Hamm. It has a very awesome section on expression. Hopefully, this helps everyone as well💪happy drawing
