Hey, Mr. Mark! I'm glad you finally did a "glasses" video. I've watched it a bunch of times now, and I've got the hang of it! Mark, do you sign your work? Or is "laying down the pencil" your signature in videos?
@CrispyBacon10112 жыл бұрын
@MKZ4345 instead of starting from the right to the left (right handed drawer), start from the left then to your right. If the pencil smears on your hand (because sometime you'll have to go back to add detail or shading) and starts to mess up your drawing then you can do two things (at least what I do). You can either lightly erase those smears and go over that area again or can sightly pick up your hand. it also wouldn't hurt if you wash you hands every once in a while.

@RafaelBorgesRDB12 жыл бұрын
@pereztaastic I use both, and I must say that contact lens are WAY BETTER. Don't worry about touching the eyes, because it will not happen after a little bit of practice (and they are more resistant than you think). You only must be careful with your nails, your eyes humidity, lens cleanness, and the correct side of the lens (if you reverse them they will still work, but your eyes will itch and burn a lot!). Greetings from Brazil.

@MKZ4345 you could start using plexigalss when you draw. it is see through, and it wont smear the lead on your hand or on the paper
@aylasdfghjkl12 жыл бұрын
My question about this is SUNGLASSES. The frames are basically the same, yeah, but I wonder how you would incorporate the shading- would you completely black the lenses out and makes them opaque, or simply color the area you're seeing through them darker, or what? I'm not asking for a specific video about that (that seems really useless) but perhaps sometime when you find yourself drawing a character that might be outdoors, give them sunglasses and mention your thoughts on it perhaps. Thanks:)

I wonder if you could possibly do a video on the box guide line he used. I found it very interesting and a extremely versatile technique. I think Mark Crilley is BA. Because of him I've been trying to hunt down Dixon pencils. Lol
@iAmPesukone12 жыл бұрын
@MKZ4345 Draw very lightly at first so you don't have enough stuff on the paper to smear your hand. Then use something more permanent that doesn't smear around. YOu could sketch around using a H pencil and when you think you're done, switch to markers or something. Or, have a fingerless glove in your hand. Some fabrics don't smear half as much as skin does. Also, try to work from the far corner of the picture towards the corner closest to your hand.
