Thanks a lot for this! I end up drawing a lot of lines i feel whereas you are able to choose representative lines so well. Is there some intuition or rule of thumb i can borrow to not be so verbose with the lines i draw?

I try to minimise lines but I think it comes down to practice and your own style👍🏼

Hi Scottie, can I ask for some advice? What can I do to make a portrait look more like the reference? I tried to draw some of my colleagues following your videos and tips but in the end the sketches seemed to be other people... Anyway great video!

Hi Marco! One tip is to slightly exaggerate some prominent features they have so the sketch looks closer to the reference. Also using pencil to lightly draw construction helps so you get the features in the right position. But it is a challenge when sketching straight to pen like this video and I am only aiming for an impression myself 😊
