Would you okay with doing an artist Q & A. Just answer some questions as easily as possible while maybe getting some other video ideas depending on the depth needed to answer a question to its fullest. For example, I am a new artist and have been practicing for three months now on sketch book before trying to move over to digital. I've practice with more anime style characters like I-No of Guilty Gear, Android 21 and others. My questions are, with consistency do you develop your own style after tutorials like these or does your style grow from kinda sorta copying art? I've heard a rule of thumb, a full body piece is usually 7 or 6 heads tall is that true? I did watch your male and female drawing videos but I was still curious to ask if there is a difference in shoulder width between them that wasn't discussed. Is that because its not true? Are all bases for bodies the same even for mecha's to anthropomorphic characters akin to beaststar characters? Are there different bases for characters? I've seen some use circles to start with, others with stick figures, does this make a huge difference in art works or just preferences? I've seen that you draw an extra half circle underneath the main circle for the head, if you only use a circle or egg like oval does it make a huge difference? Does it affect art style or create possible bad habits? How are body builds done for bigger characters like Broly of DragonBall Super or big like E-Handa of Street Fighter and other such characters? Can you apply these qualities to female characters the same way? Sorry to bombard you with so many questions. I really love your channel, you've helped me understand so much more about art than I thought was there to be honest. Not that I haven't gotten amazing help but just gotten a more 1st grade esque understanding and I thank you for that.

Translucency will not get you that far with realism. The ice should refract the light, leaving a warped image behind. In digital art, you could blur and distort the objects behind the ice for that effect.
