Fun facts from a guy who works in luxury clothing. 1. Darker complexion = way more colour options 2. Never button the bottom button of a jacket 3. Always unbutton jacket when you sit down 4. You absolutely CAN mix patterns as long as they are distinctly different 5. Only buy double breasted jackets with a Y button configuration unless it is a peacoat in which case an II configuration is okay (V configurations are good but not the best)

Excellent video. Hearing you elaborate on choices and what other options you have is exactly what I wanted, and not just a 1:1 strict "buy this and that" guide. The character design analysis is also a nice extra bonus. Also random, but your last "bye" or whatever you said cut off at the end, try keeping a second or 2 of extra time to avoid that (it's a common youtube problem and it happens randomly).

in the beginning of yakuza 0 we see kiryu wearing a black suit which can symbolize how his fully in the yakuza and in a "black zone" and then later when he leaves he picks up a white suit that may symbolize his white collar job and how he no longer is in the yakuza. then in later games kiryu wears his iconic grey suit which as you may know is a mix of black and white. which may mean the even doe hes a civilian he will swoop in and save the tojo clan

The act of wearing what I feel expresses who I am makes me feel confident as a person, since it's kinda like having the attitude of having nothing to hide and accepting yourself. At the same time, looking stylish makes me feel confident / more charismatic too, but that's more outward focused. I think having both inward driven & outwards driven confidence is good

If you haven't seen Yakuza papers you should it's a masterpiece. But what is important is to understand the black market japan generation. See after ww2. People were starving and Japan's black market grew out of the chaos of war. This style came about I think in the 70's-80s showing wealth. From the people who grew up in that time of black markets.
