Bingo. Had to charge the battery a little while but this video guide is exponentially better than I expected. That helpful voice sounds heavenly and is correct as could be. I'd marry that voice.

I have never operated a Bobcat before, but saw my brother operating the one he rented and used at his place. Since I have two utility tractors and they do all of what I need to do there is no need for a bobcat at my place, but it is nice to know how to operate one and this video was informative, and I thank you for showing us how to do it.

Thanks. My bud dumped his Bobcat out for me to clean my barn and said "You can figure it out"...which I kinda did but it was reassuring to make sure I wasnt' doing something wrong...it is much different animal than my FEL on a farm tractor. I do know one thing with the bucket that close it will be easier to dump dirt and hay on myself than with my cab tractor. I noticed the gravel and stuff in the cab you were showing.

Get an Owner and maintenance manual and read it thoroughly. Change the fluid in the chaincase and fan drive. There might be 1 or 2 small filters under the seat that are also often neglected.

Thank you. I have a KZbin channel John Buelow Excavating. I have about 36 little-watched videos on excavating. If there is something you want information on I could make a video. I changed the oil in my 763 Bobcat chaincase last weekend. It had metal flakes in it. I put two round magnets, that I took out of junk microwaves inside in the front bottom of the chaincase. When I change oil next time I am wondering what I will find. I also tape magnets to the ends of my filters. The hydraulic filter had nothing in it, but the oil filter had a little bit of gray slime inside it.

Good video. I believe I could get in and operate it. After about 100 hours I would be good at it. You explained it very well
@buelowexcavating4 жыл бұрын
After operating a machine for 100 a person gets overconfident, you are in the group of people that has the most accidents. I would say to operate it well it takes at least 2,000 hours. I was on a job and they had a new Bobcat driver. He was flying around getting a lot done. I said he was the worst driver. Nobody agreed with me until we returned from lunch and the machine was upside down with the tires facing the sun. After they uprighted the machine the rest of the day he moved at a snail's pace.

Thanks got an idea now. I had to use a backhoe again today to load stone in a truck at work. I know how to use the CAT version of skid steers but it was gone on a job site. Never used our old Bob Cat before. Would rather use the front end loader but it’s not allowed to take stone from the inside because its by a wall.

@bjack86453 жыл бұрын
Yes if you pull back on both levers it will go back, push both forward it will go forward. All of this is with hydraulics not an actual forward/reverse selector as in a vehicle.
