Jumpsbychi do you have any tips to dunk on 10ft for the first time like vertical help
@drew24624 жыл бұрын
Never looked at it this way. I can get off the ground already and was wondering why I found it so hard to tomahawk, now I know you have to actually push the ball up. Thanks for the tip. Will try.
@drew24624 жыл бұрын
Yeah, the tips were working and right after I got it down quarantine started. I’ve been still working on my bounce and doing programs like Vertshock. I recommend these tips, especially for someone that doesn’t have a high vertical
@drew24624 жыл бұрын
I never really measured it. I worked hard on it every day. I remember the summer of my 9th grade (last year) I couldn’t even grab the rim, let alone dunk. I got in the gym and worked like crazy. I did the Leg extensions and leg curls, leg press machines and calf raises as well as some plyos like box jumps. The start of 10th grade I was able to dunk consistently. If you’re really trying to increase your vertical I recommend doing leg excercises explosively. People make it harder than it seems.
@drew24624 жыл бұрын
For sure! At first it will seem hopeless and you will want to give up, but if you stick to it consistently you can get there. Also remember to take rest days, working on your vertical hard for days at a time can mess up your knees bad. I would say 1-2 rest days spaced out. I wish you the best of luck! If you have anymore questions let me know!

@hexsplays4 жыл бұрын
I've been doing this in an 8ft backyard rim. I'm just 5'4 and obviously can't palm a ball. Using the offhand to assist in holding the ball before dunking on one hand is really good. Holding the bottom half of the ball makes it easier to make the dunk but you don't have the leverage to dunk it hard. It looks lame but a bucket is a bucket no matter what.
