Palming improved especially my shooting so much. If before i was making lets say 50% of my shots in practice,now I can make about 80% of them,which is insane because I started playing serious only 4 months ago,so try it out it really might help you out a lot.

@ٴ I just asked how tall he is and I only assumed he was a guard because it seems he is focused on shooting, and yes you don’t have to tell me every position can focus on shooting, I know. Shooting is one of the must have’s for a guard bc of some of things they lack that maybe a power forward can do

Try doing it when your hand is smaller then 2 panels. Yours is still well bigger then 2 panels and palming is much easier then.

TIP:IF you want to palm a basketball but if its old then just put it in water wash it let it dry and then do it (you will have to do it every time you need to palm a basketball)

Get Handles Basketball On the drill where you go between the legs shamgod while walking forward\backward with one hand only, I tried applying the part where you tap your leg before catching it, although when I tap my leg it doesn’t give me enough time to catch the ball when it goes thru the legs

That’s part of what makes the drill tough, but beneficial. You either need to control it well without the leg tap, or do the leg tap and move your hands quicker. Either way you’re challenging an aspect of your handles and improving 👍

Honestly if you have smaller hands you should strengthen your grip with workouts. I have really big hands especially for my height and I could already palm a ball but I started to strengthen my grip and I was able to palm a ball in mid air which really helps with rebounding

What's ur palm (glove size)? Mine's 7.5in for hand lenght from middle finger to the wrist. I got a handspan of 9 inches. Which seems pretty small for my height. Anyways, thanks for the vid. My grips improving and now I can palm the 🏀 now. :)

I tried doing the math.. And it's impossible to do if your hand span is less than 8 inches. You need that minimum. If your hand passes that, then *if my physics is correct* it's possible with training. But for comfortable palm, you need 10 inch of span.
