I find that the single-leg variation of Pogo Jumps is one of my favorite Plyometric exercises of all time. Great for strengthening the lower leg (Achilles tendon, ankle joint, calf muscle, Tibialis anterior muscle). I also find that doing weighted Jump Squats (20 - 45lbs) is one of the best rate of force development exercises you can do.

MAN UTD I'm a football fan and a football player, but I don't think football can grow any more. It's at its peak. I think in the future football will actually decrease in viewership and so will every sport, because people will stop playing and watching sports as technology improves.

Thincpro? Are you purposely trying to hurt people? Before attempting plyometrics a person must be ready. Simply put: 1. Base strength. 2. Proper flexibility and range of motion. Do not attempt plyometrics before you are ready. If you are reading this, do your own research to prepare yourself. Yes, these are great exercises for the prepared participant.
@ThincPROBasketball7 жыл бұрын
Good point Rubin! We would assume athletes would warm up dynamically before attempting any explosive plyo movements, or strenuous training session
@baseball26627 жыл бұрын
Rubin Gibson So, your saying people should do some warm ups before attempting these exercises?
@Aubooke7 жыл бұрын
Google how to prepare for plyometrics. Yes, you should definitely warmup and stretch. The exercises in this video are not recommended for the beginner. It is recommended to develop base strength before attemping plyometric workouts. A serious athlete will build a solid foundation. This could entail several months months of barbell compound lifts, as well as beginner plyometric exercises. Most dont want to put the prep work in. Think "gradual."
