Great video explaining this join. I've used it for years and have become really good at it. I can judge how much yarn is needed at the end/beginning of a row so that the join is at the beginning.

Excellent Mrs Doodle, Thanks for showing this, I knew there was some sort of magic knot but never knew how to do it. In past I've always waited to a new row in my knitting to do joins. This will make things a lot easier in future.

Brilliant!!! You and the knot!! Last night I started crocheting the beaded chain!!! I started over so many times because my stitches didn’t look so pretty, but I did it!! Dee, thank you so much for the tutorial for those. I lost my mama in 2014, and I wish I had been more attentive when she tried to teach me. I always thought that if someone else taught me that I would feel sad because it wasn’t Mama. That certainly wasn’t the case last night. I actually felt more connected to her. My mind focused on the stitches but thought of so many memories of her and my grandmother. I can’t thank you enough. You are a blessing to me for this. While I’m not very good at it, I do love trying!! If you have time, I would love for you to show how to do other crochet stitches. Like today when you’re filming on that white background, it’s so easy to see the detail. I just can’t thank you enough for inspiring me! After Mama died I wouldn’t craft for the longest time, but you, Nina, and Jenofeve Designs brought me back in my craft room. Thank you so much for sharing!!!!!

Leslie Jones Creative Pzazz Hello Leslie, thank you ever so much for your lovely comment. I’m so pleased you’ve mastered the bead crochet. Your Mama would be proud of you. Keep practicing. Some of my stitches aren’t pretty either but I still enjoy doing it. I’m not confident enough with crochet to try and show you any more as I still get mixed up with the stitch names lol. Nice to know that I (& the others ladies) have inspired you and helped you through what I know is a tough time. Tfw. Hugs,Dee xox😘🤗

HA HA HA!!! It's magic!!! And it's fun to do! Since my crocheting consists of the bead crochet chains (thank you very much) it may be a while before I need to use the knot, heh heh heh ---but I have already mastered it thanks to you! Enjoy your day, my friend.

Thank you for sharing this. You are right, I watched another video on this but yours was easier for me to get. I just started knitting on a round loom last winter tying knots Everytime I ran out of yarn or changed colors and having the little tails with the knot was frustrating at times. So thank you again for making it EASY to learn.
