I learned that method on my own. I'm not trying sound cocky... It's the best method. Every crab lover should know it, I encourage everyone to learn it because it's as easy to learn as riding a bike. Sean Evans, you do need to bring Gordon Ramsay on to Hot Ones and also see if he knows how to open up crabs legs properly with this method haha.

As a lifetime crab lover that has eaten pretty much every type of (edible) crab caught in or around the US, I just want to say that if you can eat crab like a real pro, you don't even need the nutcracker to get into any part of it. Any crab has parts of it (usually the end of a leg or the moving piece of claw) that can be used to pry open the more stubborn parts of the crab. All you need is your fingers. Also, I really don't know about this making a pile of body meat unless the crab meat is going to be used in something else. It usually goes in my mouth as quickly as I can get it out of the crab.
