I wanted to check up on what was happening in our country I decided to watch news this past few days🤦‍♀️ I'm back to being stressed ....i thought things were moving forward again with our new president in usa but now with our voting rights being assaulted in our local states 🙁I wish I listened to my husband and bought our retirement cottage in Canada earlier than when waiting until we retired...😏I'm pretty much scared and sleepless again.. never watching tv news again...lol...I dislike immensely being this stressed out for this many yrs, my heart goes out to all the displaced refugees in our world due to strife in their county of origins....many beautiful art blessing to you today.. thank you for bring beauty and peace to me and others thru your art work and music.....again pardon the xbox orange guy, gamer daughter and I share internet site...👩‍🎨🎨

thanks, CB! there are a few areas around the gold tendrils that were difficult to navigate with the black but i like the result too. i think this is perfect to practice brush control and i will definitely make others. wishing you a beautiful week!

Dramatic and romantic tied in a golden bow. I loved this video, Cee Cee! I held my breath for you as you painted in between with the black (she laughs). What a good example of how to effectively use color blocking (especially with black). Guess what? I had a lovely visit with a long time friend here in Surprise, AZ. She has a new studio at Ground Floor Studios and Gallery in Surprise. While I was visiting I found not one but two beautiful leather bound handmade watercolor journals! I have my sketchbook and I've been trying to work up my piece using my photo of the other day. Once I'm happy with how I want it to look I shall transfer that to my new journal. The hardest thing is taking my time and being patient with the process. Thank you always for sharing your beautiful work and processes.

What an interesting design. I love that you made a color palette first. One the most difficult things for me is limiting my colors and watching you made me think this would be a good exercise for me.
