The "history" thing is huge. So many people stay in long term relationships that stopped serving them LONG AGO but continue to stay because they feel bounded by HISTORY. Be stronger than "history." You could meet someone and only know them for a day and they are far better for you than someone you've been with for YEARS. Choose YOURSELF over "history." What a gem of wisdom!

My healing era started at the beginning of this year in January. I took a big step to walk away from my abusive relationship of 4+ years. Not gonna lie, I’ve found myself falling back into the relationship a few times since because I’ve felt bad for him and wanted to help him with certain things financially. I’ve learned that I have to be selfish and let a grown ass man fix his own life. But Lord, it’s so hard to move on and fully heal when this man won’t allow me to break this off!!! I haven’t seen him in over a month but we talk on a daily and it’s so draining still even from a distance. I’m learning day by day to stop letting fear stop me. Going full no-contact is scary to me because of the threats I receive towards me and my family, but I’m praying and working on myself daily to find a better way to break it off for my own peace and safety. Thank you Hailey for your continued advice not just on this topic but everything else.

Yes I need to heal there have been far too many toxic relationships in my life. I'm dealing with this by working out and going to the sauna. Trying different classes in the gym. Spending time with my mom going on solo dates. I'm going to start going to women meet up groups again to stasifty my love langange of quality time and to give me a sense of community where I can meet high vibrational women. If I meet a friend or two in the process all the better. I'm considering therapy too.

Very good tips. I followed your tips from your last video. Took myself to lunch yesterday. Tried your upper back pulley exercise at the gym..liked it better than the pulley row I always do..Bought a journal to begin again. Threw my last one away 10 months ago when I moved and ended a 5 yr relationship. I also think it's very therapeutic to spend time alone to reise what you truly want. I'm 61. I go dancing many Saturday nights to live music at our ",beer garden". It's quite popular I order only 1 drink. Dance alone in the crowd. Chat with many. But I go home alone. Hailey!! I love you, you’re seriously such a light in this world 💞 A lot of what you’re saying are already things I believe and depending on the season of life I’m in I also embody. When listening to you I can tell that you know yourself and I feel that’s why there’s peace in not holding a grudge. Being human basically means we’re inevitably going to be flawed in someway/ make mistakes and fail and it’s most important to try again. To know ourselves and to figure out how to navigate that at the end of the day humans as a whole aren’t above much of the things we like to say we are. When knowing this it’s so much easier to not hold grudges because we can also see how we’re flawed. I’ve appreciated your strength and casualness in calling out how you’ve been a bad friend, girlfriend and whatever else in your life. We literally all have, even when people paint narratives that we weren’t in the wrong. When looking back it becomes more clear how even if we don’t do wrong by others maybe we did wrong by ourselves etc. It feels so nice to watch you hold yourself and be so confident in sharing simple truths that many of us don’t want to see.
