Tara Swart Quotes:
“If a woman sleeps with a man enough times she is going to start falling in love.”
“If you are in close proximity to someone who is really stressed, whether they’re repressing it or not, that is going to artificially raise your stress levels.”
“Somebody who’s very whole, who’s evolved spiritually, who’s worked on themselves, who’s done that psychological stuff to manage their emotions isn’t going to be in a relationship with somebody who’s got trust issues, [...] you meet people who are at a similar level to you.”
“I remember the moment standing in the garden and I thought, ‘this person can totally break my heart now,’ and instead of feeling fear I thought ‘wow, you have got over what happened before and brought yourself to the place where you’ve put your heart on the plate for someone else again, well done.”
“What you call addiction to the highs and lows, I would actually say is the inability to manage the extremes of your emotions.”
“The brain remains flexible throughout our lives, and so it is the reason that we can change the way that we think, the way that we behave, the things that we believe, the relationship patterns that we have at any age, at any stage of life, and with any mindset.”

I enjoyed her speaking about hormones and how cordisol can be excreted out of our body. How it affects humans. I'm also a Massage therapist so when she spoke about human touch and how it is so important. It also made me ponder on how hormones also affect my clients and I. That there has to be a balance.

My husband of 33 years left our marriage in 2020. He was having as affair with another woman from his office. He was CEO-she was Exec Secretary. They are still together. We both were surrounded by friends who are in long term relationships. Both sets of our parents had long time marriages. So many people around us said they could never have predicted that we would be divorcing. I always believed we could work on things and get back together. But he left without ever wanting to discuss the pain, or the problems we had within the relationship. I did delve into the work that I needed to do on myself. Lots of counselling, so much reading, prayer, trust and self-inspection. I have recently met an amazing man. He loves me in a way I never knew was possible. I think God for the journey. I would never have left on my own. God moves things out of the way that no longer serve you.

I’m glad I’m not married. We live in very strange times. I urge every woman to not fall for the “it’s too late” mindset. I love myself too much to settle for anyone I don’t have chemistry and connection with, or that is sincere. It’s hard to find these days.

These are wonderful (counterpoint) examples to the negative messages that bombard youth today. I don’t remember a time that can overwhelms one, before even getting started in the journey of life. Learning emotional regulation for each of us is so important. Here shows adults and older kids they could be empowered to their goals and desire’s . With self awareness and an attitude that they are truly their best friend. Seeking and reflecting on the best for themselves.

My mother kept us jumping in an attempt to please her entire lives and I only realized it at 54 years old, I dropped a fork on the floor and I heard that click of the tongue with that disapproving sound. I immediately changed my reaction, and that resets your body programming from childhood, when you just take a breath and sit for a moment... and had a huge Revelation that that is why I always gave 90% in a relationship LOL without ever being asked to do anything in particular, I would jump to it and go above and beyond. Hypervigilance occurs so you don't even get to really experience or remember or be fully present for your own childhood when you are constantly reacting to a parent's high level of anxiety or disapproval. So grateful for all of it, and I know exactly why I chose my parents and family members and experiences in this lifetime to teach me about myself❤

That's why my siblings and I love each other but can't be around each other. We grew up in a home that was so stressed out we were all in survival and simply never really bonded. That's why I no longer choose to see anyone from my family even though I don't feel any animosity. They trigger survival in me and I don't want that for myself or for them. We never learnt to bond so we love each other but we don't know each other.

My ex-husband used to tell me, every time we had an argument, "There's not use talking about this. We're going to get divorced anyway." Yes, I left him, because he made it clear for years that he didn't want to work on our issues, and that divorce seemed like a good enough option for him.

Isn’t it crazy that he got married in the first place? If he had such a defiant attitude and unwillingness to communicate and resolve conflict or at the very least hear you out to reach a compromise then those vows never stood a chance. I haven’t been in a relationship for a while but I’ve got to know a few guys recently and the regular disappointment I’ve experienced very early on is that they’ll say things but can’t back them up with action. ‘I’ll call you tomorrow evening”... you said you were going to do that and then you didn’t... and if there’s no acknowledgement or apology or explanation eg “so sorry, got caught up at work and forgot to call you” then that’s enough for me to diminish my opinion of him. Integrity is number one on my list of what I look for and I know if he’s capable of misaligning his words and actions at the start when he’s supposed to be impressing me and convincing me of accepting a date, then I know he’s capable of far worse when the going gets tough and the honeymoon is over.

My 7 year old son passed away suddenly in March. My husband of 22 years asked for divorce in may. He started seeing another woman within just a few weeks. I never thought we would be part of the statistic. Im so broken that I have very little desire to try to get him back, plus who would want someone that leaves them at their most broken time of their life?! Im doing the work of trying to heal myself and be there for my other two children.

Our brain is so powerful, I struggled with self belief my whole life and even after years of therapy, growth and healing.. it still took EMDR therapy to break the negative inner diatribe. “You meet people at the level of psychological wound that you have” This is a paraphrase from Stephen Covey in his books ‘First Things First’ and ‘7 Habits Of Highly Effective People’. He expands on this statement thoroughly in his books. He also quotes history when he also says something like “…between stimulus and response is a space. It is in this space that we have the power to decide …’ …or make choices. I think we need to get our history ducks to fly in formation here.

She's right about falling being a fast track to the grave. As a teen, I worked in a home for the elderly. If someone fell, we knew we would lose them. They never recovered, especially if a hip was broken.

I LOVE this episode! Thank you Lisa and Tara. I will say one thing though.. I agree with what Sarah is saying about the law of attraction. Specific action towards our goals is vital.. However maintaining our own energetic frequency is not passive either.. It takes alot of persistence and understanding to bring ourselves to a higher vibration and stay there. There is alot of energetic labour that takes place.. It's okay.. At this moment in time this type of labour is not recognised.. In time it will be when we start to understand consciousness in a more tangible way

Around 12-13 minute mark. This makes sense why so many people bond in the beginning of a relationship because of both traumas but as one starts to change a disconnect comes about. The same way with friendships if you’ve experienced trauma from parents and your friend did not this can become something that disconnects the both of you because you cannot see or feel the other person’s side or there maybe even envy.

I did a documentary that was implemented into the Canadian school curriculum a few months ago that is helping educate health care professionals all over Canada and students about the horrific effects of residential schools from a perspective of a child of two residential school survivors. The native community knew about DNA memory way before the first boats landed in North America. I think one thing that's important to remember is we carry our ancestors pain BUT we also carry their strength, resilience and even spiritual gifts. Thank you for having her on, ive seen her on the "know thy self" channel and she is absolutely amazing!!! ❤

What stuck with me is that we are wired for reproduction. Female bodies and psycho are created for giving birth. Child-free is an extremely new culture, probably 30-40 years old compared with millions of years of evolution. However, child-free lifestyle would not be possible without females actually having an option to pour out their creativity and nurture into their work. I love how women are empowered now by having that option. Thank you for your channel 🌺🌹🌺

@lisaBilyeu This is a great interview, you really allowed her to talk, thank you. You'd researched beforehand, and asked great questions to keep the flow going and bring out so much of her knowledge. I saw Tara being interviewed by someone else on KZbin and learned much more from the first 15 minutes of her interview with you than a whole hour in the other one. I appreciate the way you don't try to make it about you, thank you for letting her talk so well!

Hi everyone! The best neuralcognitive exercise you can do is rebounding! It gives The brain proprioception to gravity. It strips fat and builds muscle faster than any other workout there is. It flushes your entire lymphatic system every time you bounce, it heals your eyes, it allows your organs to start moving and becoming more fluid instead of stuck.

@@LisaBilyeu enjoyed her speaking about hormones and how cordisol can be excreted out of our body. How it affects humans. I'm also a Massage therapist so when she spoke about human touch and how it is so important. It also made me ponder on how hormones also affect my clients and I. That there has to be a balance.

Careful with the "your fault" and the mouth-taping for people with sleep apnea. People with sleep apnea literally stop breathing, because the tissue in the throat closes off their airway. Mouth taping is not enough, and mouth breathing is not your fault.
