Could you achieve the same by using a level lighter permanent dye with 30 or 40 volume developer on the roots & then all over with a lower developer? Or do you HAVE to re-bleach everything to get lighter?
@nvennhairbeauty3 жыл бұрын
If you have virgin hair then you can use color (if you need 4 levels of lift or less). Color doesnt lift color so if you have colored hair you will need to use bleach. Montana's roots are virgin but she needs more than 4 levels of lift so color wouldn't work on her xoxo

Hi, thanks for the video it is really helpful, I have a question regarding root touch up, hope you could help me. I have coloured roots, mid lengths & ends 50% of 7 & 50% of 7.1 with Loreal Inoa colour. Roots 70% grey. The problem is roots are about 1 to 2 inches darker than the mid-length & ends, how to blend them all in one colour? Please advise me. Thank you so much
@nvennhairbeauty2 жыл бұрын
By one color do you mean a solid color or do you mean for your hair to appear as one color (by using the technique in the video). If you actually just want one color, you will need to darken your ends to match your roots. If you just want a blend, you can either lowlight your ends with the color of the roots or you can highlight the roots and add in the color of your ends. I hope that helps! xoxo

Her hair color came out very beautiful. When you say lift did you use bleach??? Also how does her hair look like it had low lights. Did she have a balayage prior to lifting???
@nvennhairbeauty4 жыл бұрын
yes when we say lifting, we mean bleach 😊. color wouldn't be able to take black hair to blonde like that. her hair didn't have lowlights but yes her hair had her some of her black come through as a shadowed root.

thank you so much for this video. i got my hair professionally dyed about a month ago for $150 and i’m kinda lost on what to do now. the guy who did it said i would have to do my dirty blonde hair to platinum in multiple appointments. after the first appointment it was definitely lighter, and as my roots are growing out it’s starting to look gross. but it was really expensive at the salon. is this something i can do at home - similar to this video, lightning up the roots then proceeding to lighten the rest of my hair color? if it would be difficult, i don’t really trust myself lol i might just resort to the salon but i wanted to ask. 💙
@nvennhairbeauty2 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't lighten your hair on your own. It can be challenging to get an even and neutral result. Also, if the lightener is left on too long, your scalp could get a chemical burn as well. I would go to a professional for sure. xoxo

Her super white blonde will require bleach for sure unless you are a natural blonde to start. As long as your stylist knows what he or she is doing, it wont be that damaging necessarily. We lighten people's hair all the time without damaging it xoxo

blondeme and 20 vol is what she used for the lightener. Your toner would change depending on how your hair lightened so I can't really tell you how to formulate for that. For example, if your hair is more orange, you would formulate differently than if it was more yellow.

@valeriepaigeferguson3 жыл бұрын
@@nvennhairbeauty By a pass, I mean one completion of a section. For example, if you plan to finish bleaching the midshafts and ends first, and then the roots, one pass would be the process of application up until you're ready to start the roots.
