I just bought this app today, so far I like it a lot but when I export the song to AudioShare and listen to the song it’s not as loud and I got the volume on AudioShare turned up all the way.

Might need to experiment with the limiter a little more. There’s some more videos that might help you out like this one. kzbin.info/www/bejne/naWwnKdnjtSiopY

Can you export it back to GarageBand and then share it to iMovie?
@PeteJohnsMusic3 жыл бұрын
Yup. But I would just import the WAV exported from Final Touch straight back in to iMovie.

Hi Pete where do I get that mastering program

Just search the App Store. And there should be a link in the description too.

Hello! I exported a song into dropbox the other day with no problems but today Final Touch just will not export to my dropbox. I made uninstalled my Dropbox app and reinstalled and the problem still persists. Other documents upload and export fine but Final Touch just isn't exporting at the moment. Have you ever run into this issue? Love your videos by the way, they have been super helpful!
@PeteJohnsMusic2 жыл бұрын
Hey there. I would suggest just exporting to your files all and then uploading from there using the Dropbox app. Those options to send from one app to another are a little flaky in my experience.

@@PeteJohnsMusic Thanks Pete! I just went ahead and downloaded audioshare. Dropbox was giving me an absolute headache for no reason. Your videos are life saver and have given me more confidence in my music. You show how important it is to have fun when making music and that's a big part of being successful. Keep it up man!

Hi Pete! It’s possible to upload the song directly on Soundcloud?
@PeteJohnsMusic5 жыл бұрын
Hey there. No, unfortunately there is no way to directly upload to Soundcloud from Final Touch. You’ll need to export it first as as WAV file and then upload this. I use AudioShare to do this and showed this in a recent video.

@@PeteJohnsMusic thank you. This is not good because the description in the app store says that Soundcloud is supported...
@PeteJohnsMusic5 жыл бұрын
Hmmmmm...... that’s interesting? I will have to take a look at the description. It is a better idea to export the files first before sending to Soundcloud anyway but that’s not cool if they advertise it as a feature if it’s not available?

How do you get a free drop box account. Website says it’s like $9 a month.

You should be able to sign up to Dropbox Basic and get 2gb of storage for free?

@@PeteJohnsMusic Thanks Pete. Decided to just buy the $5 Audio Share app. I wish Final Touch would have giving me the option to text the file to myself or send it to my Media Converter app. I got too many apps as it is already. Oh well, Audio Share works good so far. Back to work mixing/mastering.

It’s too bad this program doesn’t exist anymore on the system. This is all I used for years, but when I deleted it off my old iPad to free up space it delete it across my other devices as well. That really pissed me off.

You might be able to re-download it again using this method? kzbin.info/www/bejne/op63fKGmaJl7pK8

Shame you only have a fixed low bit rate output for MP3. This is the nail in the coffin for me. Trying to shift over to iPad only but not only does this app crash a lot, i cant output decent quality MP3’s Think ill be working with my Pc for a long time to come.
@PeteJohnsMusic4 жыл бұрын
Hey there. I tend to output WAV files when mastering anyway so hadn’t noticed this. When releasing you generally want to keep things as high quality as possible.
@davebassP54 жыл бұрын
Yeah I get that, but if i want to send it as an MP3 for reference, playback on mobile devices etc, FT can do this automatically, only not at good quality. Saving as a Wave means back to another app and then output to MP3 at higher quality (if that’s even possible). Hardly a good workflow. What i tend to do is record gigs and rehearsals, so i have one huge 24 bit Wav file. I edit out the gaps etc and then need to send to the band. A .wav isnt really a viable option. I get the feeling the developers have given up on this app. as you mentioned a year ago, still no integration with the Fils app and I’m getting a lot of clicks and pops even on my 2020 iPad Pro.
@PeteJohnsMusic4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah, o haven’t had the same audio issues but definitely agree that it has not had any love from the devs in a long time. I tend to use AudioShare to throw large WAV files in and chop them up. In fact, I use AudioShare as the recorder too if I’m just recording a single stereo source and want high quality.
@davebassP54 жыл бұрын
Pete Johns yeah, i purchased Audio share today. Ironically it doesn’t do MP3 but AAC is fine. Figured out i can cut the files in WavePad and save the 24 bit wav files to the files app. Open that in Final Touch, master and transfer that to Audio Share and export from that. A bit of a long winded way to do things but the power of my ipad means its still faster than my PC doing it all in one program. Kept up the good work, really enjoying your channel, and music. 👍

Mp3 is a compressed format, you actually don’t measure a mp3 quality in bits and hz (example 24bits/48000hz) because you mostly lose all of that during encoding There isn’t a “24bit mp3” You measure mp3 quality on kbps being the max at 320kbps Final touch doesn’t say in which mp3 quality you’re exporting though
