I never could understand how this plugin works, so I usually use presets when I use it.

Plugins are often a great place to start with any plugin! Hopefully this helps you customise some of the settings.

Hey, I was mastering on Final Touch and all I had was vocals and guitar. The output volume I pulled down slightly because it was going in the yellow and red. After I thought it was finished, I shared it into audioshare and the frequency is much smaller. What am I doing wrong? What is meant to look like?

Once you are mastering and in Final Touch you want to be pushing your levels up towards 0dB and in to the yellow and red. So you might be turning things down too much?

To get your tracks sitting in with other peoples music Pete, what is the normal pres-set numbers you go to? Threshold around 7.2 and always keeping the RM Peak at 0? Something like that. I found when I was experimenting with a few of my mastered tracks the other month there, that their volumes were louder or quieter against one another. Frustrating when you are trying to mix them for a an album you know. Any suggestions?

Hey there James. So I’m going to give one of those frustrating “it depends” answers, as it really does depend on the type of song, the levels it was recorded at, what types of instruments and a bunch of other variables. So you really do need to master your tracks and then listen to your masters back to back and just take notes on which ones sound out of place, make some adjustments, rinse and repeat.

Thanks for the info. Just a question about the ceiling slider. Is it the same as the slider thats all the way to the right? The slider above positive grid.

Hey there. I don't believe so? If you're referring to the master volume, this is different from the ceiling that's part of the limiter.
