Want to learn how to handstand but are too afraid of falling? Fear no more, because in this video I show you how to bail from a handstand safely.
The handstand is one of the useful calisthenics skills to learn. Aside from looking and feeling cool, it’s necessary to learn it if you want to progress to more advanced skills like:
Handstand push ups
Handstand press
Planche press
90 degree push ups
L-sit to handstand
But for most beginners, the fear of falling forward is so daunting that it stops their progress altogether. If you’re experiencing this and want to learn how to overcome it, you’re in the right place.
The tips in this video are tried and tested - I’ve used them in my own training to conquer my fear of falling, so I know they’re proven to work. It also contains tips that’ll improve your handstand holds overall, such as fine-tuning your balance with your fingers, so make sure to watch the video all the way to the end so you don’t miss out.

Been practicing for a good while.. At a point where i'm still using a wall as support but trying to kick off and find balance but kinda been stuck there a while. Been a bit anxious about trying without any support at all, but these are some great tips that i'll keep in mind for sure :D That ending btw LOL.. Cursed. Didn't expect that hahah xD

LOOOL you made it to the end 😂🙌🏽 I always wonder how many people watch these all the way through - which is why I sometimes leave little Easter eggs for the people who do 😂👊🏽 As for your handstands, doing reps of handstand kick ups and reps of pivoting out will help to build your confidence for sure. I know this is off topic I was wondering are you able to make a video how to advance tuck front lever in the future ? I saw your pull up row video want to know how to progress to advance tuck front lever. I can hold the straddle front lever 3-5 secs but couldn’t do advance tuck front lever rows.

@@AshtonFitness that’s awesome man even though I’m at the straddle front lever I couldn’t do the advance tuck front lever rows only the tuck and pull ups row. Keep grinding your KZbin is becoming popular

Ashton no matter how i press my finger rips im always going forward and lose the balance can u tell me why?

It could be due to: 1. Arching / bending the legs (which can cause the feet to travel beyond the top of the head and make you lose balance). Straight legs will make it easier. 2. Over arching / bending your back (this can cause your legs to arch over, making it harder to balance). A straight back will make it easier. 3. Practice. The more you practice, the easier it'll become Hope that helps
