Also a good tip is using a granade, you can mine all the eggs from one nest in a singe swoop, *Warning* : do not stand in the blast radius or you will die.

I've found on pc that they respawn if you use your pulse drive to jump into space until you pass the 3rd asteroid field or so, which only takes about 2-4 seconds tops, then turn around and just regular travel back down. You don't need anywhere near as much time as you're giving it, just have to leave the planet surface so everything de-renders. the whole process can be very fast, less than a minute even.

I didn't have to look for the glyphs, Atlas Path mission provided me glyphs at every Atlas path jumps. So I just jumped from one directed Galaxy to another until I reached the Atlas and given all 16 glyphs. I was surprised I didn't have to look for any travelers, I didn't have to look the burial site of travelers. I think Beyond changed the game dynamics and focused from single player to coop.

Idk about less work. My silver and gold are at the same base. 3000 nanites or 105k gold 105k silver. That's 11 stacks each. So I have 11 refiners going. I can look at my phone and do whatever. Every 6 mins or so move the platinum. I can process it all in an hour.

I was using the larval core method my whole time playing nms, but I just got to a point where the process was really annoying and i didn't want to deal with the monstrosites anymore. So after looking for alternative ways I stumbled across the platinum method. I've almost finished my nanite farm. Since platinum refines for 35:1 I needed a lot of it, so spent a long time finding the right spot. Found a base location with S class Silver, A class Gold, and as a bonus S class Oxygen. So will also try the chlorine method at some point. I have storage capacity of 1.6 million. When the farm is fully operational, I should be able to refine the platinum into 23,400 nanites. The refining is a bit of a pain, but it is quite satisfying just watching that nanite tally going up as it refines

You still will be able to purchase pugneum which captains sell on healthy system station. It’s about 3 mlns units per 1000 clustets. With autosave reloads. This might be faster than collecting eggs

I always felt that the digging underneath the eggs was an exploit but it’s more of a play on the AI pathing as the monstrosities always seek the highest level ground unless they’re trapped under the surface and will attack. Let’s just hope it doesn’t get “fixed”. It’s similar to sentinels when they enter buildings. Despite being right next to you they’ll never attack making it very easy to get pugneum if you need it. You can also keep killing them to spawn more and lure them back inside over and over and if you’re extra ballsy you can take out the walkers. Not that they’re THAT hard. The brains are always good for freighter mission enhancements. Great video Jason! I’ve always harvested the eggs for nanites instead of selling them and have over 100,000 and climbing. This video will make it even easier. Thanks, buddy!

Some tips, the geology cannon, if you can avoid killing yourself, makes nice smooth holes under the eggs. It will sometimes break one but that is rare. Some planets have an abundance of these bases, it is worthwhile to do nav coords and then even roam the planet looking for more. This will give multiple locations to be tagged and farmed in succession. finally there is both a fast actions/instant actions mod that fixes the ungodly slowness in doing any type of interaction (like picking up eggs)

Eh, isn't this the exact method they patched recently with the eggs not respawning regardless? Either that or they extended the distance you have to travel off-world for them to respawn. Used to be getting just past the first asteroid field was enough to reliably respawn them.

an added tip that speeds it up even faster AND is safer... enlarge your terrain manipulator beam to max. when digging the tunnel, make it NO MORE than 45degrees and aimed right at the middle of the building. this will cause all your tunnels to join up and you never have to exit while collecting until you are done.

You can pick this up super fast in VR with move controllers. Faster then you're doing here without digging a hole first. :D It's as fast as if you where picking up balls IRL.

I could have sworn I have seen a very similar video to this one by you a week or so ago covering mostly the same thing.. Got some serious deja vu for the first minute or so, not gonna lie.. It is the reason I started using the eggs for nanites.. As for the tunnels under the eggs, I suggest a small trough/ditch in front of where you stand with a small lip so the eggs roll down and collect right in front of you instead of rolling to and potentially past you.. Basically, a small collection ditch that is slightly lower (maybe knee high on a non-Gek character at the deepest) than the ground you stand on to pop the eggs.. After all, those eggs have a fairly short timer before they despawn, so having a means to quickly pick them up with minimal effort definitely helps!

Jason, can you update this with the recent 2.14 patch. The eggs no longer regenerate this way. I have found they do regenerate, but it now takes days to a week for that to occur. Again, there are so many videos you have posted that are outdated. Yank these and put the updates in place! I seem to find 10 outdated videos for every one that is actually Beyond and current.

Ok, so I found an even more op way to do this. So the ai has a persistent bug that if you pop an egg and then take cover you'll wait until it gives you the message that they're subsiding. Once you get the message, run out and destroy an egg. You'll know you've succeeded if they're now running around unable to attack you. They're caught between their behavior trying to burrow but needing to attack you. They'll charge you and push you around, but you'll be safe. Harvest them at your leasur and then respawn them.

Actually...the Horrors CAN get you underground. Every now and then one of them will fall in the hole where you are and kill you if you are low level. It happened to me yesterday in Survival and i lost my whole inventory :( Doesn`t the "Wall" technique work anymore in Beyond update...was a lot simpler that way in the past....

There are moons that spawn Whispering Eggs! I randomly found a moon with eggs dotted all over the surface and I can get 15 WE in like 4 mins! The best part is the gravity is so low on the planet I found, that the monstrosities pose zero danger because one jetpack boost sends you flying so far out of dangers way.

You can have more than 40k nanites with the double glitch, in the Nexus you can duplicate the larva Cores to 2-4-8-16-32-64-128 ect

MegaNatedog1990 You still can download any version from torrent and use your save file. This is the best way to build bases wider than 314 u and to respawn eggs. Then you can switch to the latest version to get new bugs fixed.
