Thanks HEAPS for sharing this system address Jason. I farmed about 70K nanites from this station yesterday. I also had S class fighters, explorers and shuttles come in during some down times. It's worth checking the other ships just in case. I farmed the 70k nanites to get an A class baller hauler and upgrade it to S class from a system Captain Steve mentioned regarding S class freighter upgrades. On previous attempts at getting an S class baller from the system I only ever saw C, B and A class, however last night while reloading hoping for an A class with the conflict scanner, a S class came in (no conflict scanner). Needless to say I brought it and kept my 70K nanites.

Actually what you encountered with the storage augments was a bug, if you reload your save the price will be set to the correct amount.

Way to give credit! Your storage augmentation trick does work, by the way; you just have to add more than 2. I usually max one out every 30 minutes and get about 120 mil, which makes up for all the losses. You get about 2-3 storage augmentations left over. It's either make money or stock up on augmentations. Also, make sure you dismantle all the upgrades before you scrap it!

If you have a friend with glyphs, you can join them from the anomaly after they get there, and save the space station teleporter, (access it and jump in and out of your ship) and then go back there by yourself with multiplayer disabled if necessary.

I don't know if this has been mentioned already but applying upgrades to your storage actually does indeed increase the value of scrapping the ship. It's just that the value doesn't get applied until you save and then reload. I just tested this out right now and it does indeed work. It only didn't work for you in the video because you checked the value of the scrap immediately after applying the storage upgrades.

Heres something I figured out last night... You can have more than 20 slots on exotics and more than the "apparent" max on others. All you have to do is keep adding storage augmentation unit even after you've filled the grey outlined square.

the price of my 8 mil hauler went up to 14 mil when i added 4 inventory slots. it didn’t do it automatically. just reload your auto save and the value of the ship gets recalculated(i’m assuming) and the scrap value goes up as well. i was doing that with the first wave B class hauler and the first wave exotic ships. both on this station

update: bought one of the exotics from this video at 10.25mil 19 slots. set it as my main ship then reloaded. bought the next exotic and scrapped that. continued until i had enough storage augmentations to max out my first exotic. scrapped the first exotic at 48 slots, and 121 mil scrap worth. started this with approximately 120mil. ended with 200mil because of value loss on the other scrapped ships so you make money. (permadeath ps4)

Well after you sold the stuff you got after scrapping it you got back 3,499,000 units. Added to the 3,500,000 is 6,999,000 units. A profit of 1,999,000 from the purchase price of 5 million! 6:45 Is not entirely true, when you scrap the ship for 3,500,000 you will get junk along with scrapping it which you can turn around and sell for either 1.5 million or sometimes they sell for 4million. You make your money back and then some. How i started making my money when i first started playing this game and i only have 200hours.

I got one with 19 slots filled for 10million, filled up the slots and stopped once it switched to tech and sold it for 70million. Only reload after upgrading if it doesn't go up in price. This is a great port for S class explorers too. 5 out of 10 loads I bought an S class explorer on first or second wave along with exotic, and those gave me 3 s class upgrades instead if the 2 from exotic .

So, I took your experiment a bit further Jason and yes, you can increase the price of scrapping the ship by using your augmentations but, on average, I had to use, on average, 15 augmentations to boost the ship. So, I could spend 5M on a ship and after augmenting the ship 15 times, I averaged 46M return. It’s amazing. Just doing this once will offset the spending to a positive when buying the S class. Basically free nanites.

This update definitely buffed the spawn chance of exotic ships. Before the update I didn't see a single one. But since desolation dropped I'm seeing them everywhere, even in systems where it didn't used to spawn. I hope this means they got some cool stuff planned, and not just that they're making the grind even easier

I dont think people also understand the indirect value of storage augments. Storage can get very expensive the little you lose in units is actually saving a lot in the long run.

Can confirm that this S class exotic DOES still spawn first wave, but not as often. I've been here a while, several save and loads and all I got was an S class hauler for 20m Units. But I've been out, visited some planets, came back and then first wave it has spawned.

Once in a while when you have enough Storage Augumentation you can fill all the gaps of the first square on Starshipstorage and get about 40 million units when you sell it. That way you recover all you have lost selling the other starships.

Hey jason. Ever heard of the portal leading to blue ball exchange? its what the finder called the system. There will always spawn 2 exotic ships in the spacestation. It will increase the farm x2. How to make money when doing this: Just keep doing what Jason shows. But on the 10th ship use augmentation so you get bigger storage. You can go over 10, I just used 10 for a test and got a profit of around 10 million units, but the ship you invest augmentation on should have 18+ slots in it so you dont waste to many augmentations. Then scrap that ship and you will have profits with nanites, many augmentations and units. Edit: If you upgrade the storage fully but another row doesn't appear just go from technology slots to storage slots in the machine, its a bug so when you press L1/R1 L/R bumper Q/E in the machine it will update the storage. Hopefully you understood... Im not rly good at english so comment if anything is hard to understand and I'll try to explain :D

There's an S Class fighter that spawns in this system that runs under 4mil, it gives 3-4 S class starship upgrades you can sell... if you get it to spawn, you make more off it that you do with the exotic, but it isn't a guaranteed first wave, though it is something to keep an eye out for if while waiting for the exotic

I think that mystery meat stews are a much better way to farm nanites. I would only do this with a crashed exotic as you still get the two s class upgrades and you actually make money. Plus you can do it over and over.

Portal addresses dont go to the same places on Survival that they do on normal. And not everyone plays on normal. Second video ive watched where i use the portal address and end up being the first one in the system on the other side haha

I tried this today. At first it didn’t work, but then I tried again from the Euclid galaxy and it worked. The ship was not first wave, it was roughly 10th to arrive, but confirm post update on Xbox.

You'll need to go back to your original ship enter and left so it will autosave again. I usualy buy the ship, scrap it, go back to original ship to save, then reload and repeat. I sell everything at once when inventory is full.
