Everything on the Right side of the space station when you exit your ship. Buy upgrades for suit, exocraft, ship and multitools, upgrade the class of your ship, buy paint colors for freighters, buy locations to travelers graves for portal glyphs...

I’ve been doing this for weeks. I just go for A or S class. I never scrap the tech, just the whole ship. I think it would get tedious to do that, you do lose money but for me this is something you do when you have cash, which is so easy to attain anyway. Through doing this I have now got 2 exotics to max slot and have 140k nanites and 76 storage augmentation.

Yeah, you’ll definitely lose money if you just do A and S class because of the higher cost. We kept it to under 2.5 mill to eliminate the large losses so we can make it back easily by upgrading an S and scrapping it. I had a problem sticking to that though because money isn’t a concern at this point for me either. LOL.

Got my first 3 S-class ships out of this which I am keeping for now. I did notice if you use 5 more storage upgrades to fill up the new row that opened up the scrap value of the fighter jumps from 50M to 109M.

In the random 3 star galaxy I went to So depending on the system you go to that could go up or down I guesse. I think I only got 60 or 70 mil each time and it added up fast. I could have sworn though I was selling them for 480 something million each time. What's the cobalt math?maybe its better!

Energy yes! On PC you can make hot keys for the emotes with 1-0 only! But! Do not make 1 and 3 both hot keys or you won’t be able to use your scanner’s survey device properly.

I've been trying this on PS4 and it's added a cool new perspective on the game for me! I do have issues with my S class ships when I apply the storage augmentations. The game doesn't acknowledge an increase on value of the ship, this is fixed by updating the autosave and reloading.

I haven’t tried it on PS4 to be honest, but I have noticed on the storage augmentation that you don’t see an increase in value without a reload and less you only put in the exact amount of slots to fill the all the empty ones.

Found that I wasted all my Nanites upgrading a ship I didn't even like. This video not only showed me how to earn the nanites back but how to better browse for more attractive ships. The Process was working for me on the very first try, however someone else who must have followed this video showed up at this station while I was on a roll. I had been going for about an hour and did not meet my goal, but I left this station for them anyway to go find another System in the huge Galaxy to work these same principles. The process suffers from having someone else in the same station taking up landing pads and gunning for the same ships. Don't be a dick. Let someone else have a turn and if they don't do the same for you, look for another system to try! Thanks, Bob!

I've tried this in 3 tier 3 systems. All low conflict. I'm only getting one Storage Augmentation every 10 ships or so.

Wow, I’ve never had it that low! The Storage Augmentation is pretty random from what I can tell. You do have a higher chance on S class ships for sure. If you have the glyphs, you maw want to go somewhere with a guaranteed S class spawn to increase your chances. The low conflict is just for the higher tragic flow nothing else.

When it comes to Exotics it can vary, I have found some that will only give 1 but quite a few that give 3 but I don't really farm them. I always have luck finding exotics by jumping to only tier 3 systems no matter the conflict until I get a freighter rescue mission completing it, collecting a reward from the freighter and entering the station and an exotic is usually triggered to enter pretty quickly in 1-2 waves. I have even waited about 45 minutes and got a second type of exotic after that in some cases all without restarts. I tried to help a friend get a certain type of exotic while he was streaming and at first the wrong one showed, but I told him to wait and within about 30 minutes it did finally show, it was after the living ship update but before the Exo Mech update it may have changed slightly.

I do have a question though, Bob. I'm not sure if I did something wrong, but I had about 14 storage augmentations and I placed 7 on an S class explorer. Its value only went from 2.1 to 3.3 million. It hardly budged. When you did it, the value jumped by 10s of millions.

The emotes are a really nice touch. I couldn't be bothered to stake out the S class version of my perfect fighter, so I'm gonna need those nanites to upgrade my A class. I've been looking up a lot of different methods, most of them as dull or worse than sitting at a trading post and scanning ships for 8 hours a day, but this one looks far more interesting, whether it's actually the most efficient or not. I also didn't know that conflict level affects the traffic at space stations. Thanks for the tips!

I can scroll through my discovery list and see one to go to, but if I didn’t put a base there, there is no option to set a marker. If I go to galaxy view there is no option to scroll through previous destinations. I’m on Xbox. I can switch to PC and play if i need to, but what am i missing? I can’t believe there is no way to scroll back and revisit with setting a base on every planet. Galaxy shows *** and system name but not space station name. Teleporter shows space station name but not system. I’m stumped.

If you just raid the abandoned facilities you can grab the eggs and refine them, 50 nanites per egg. And you can use the exocraft scanners to locate them reliably.

Yep, but this gets more per hour. I tested it in another video. Cooking is 2nd and Larval Cores is 3rd. I tested 8 different ways...if you need a few thousand go for the cores. If you need 100k do this in a good system.

will mister SurvivalBod had to tell you this before i forgot i started playing on the first of Feb so needless to say I've watched a lot of vids after watching this one today i tried it all i was after was the nanites and augmens will after a hour i went to another system will of course there was a battle and the capt. of the freighter will after landing a s-class exotic landed right next to me it wasn't much only cost 10,000,000 but shes sitting in my landing bay right now thanks for the tips

Long and short of it, buy and scrap cheap s/a/b class ships (selling the module augs for nanites) until you have 20-30 storage augs then dump em all in a final ship, scrap that and make all your money back. Small unit profit, large nanite gain. To maximise the gains try and find a system (there are glyphs on portal exhange sites for this) that has 1 or 2 exotics in the first wave, they're always S class usually around 12m units (so you'll need a bit of start capital) and you can save and reload repeatedly to respawn them.

I think going to a guaranteed first wave exotic ship system is the way to go bc u can scrap it, reload then do it again over and over. It may take longer but worth it Overall nice tips and explanations I give it a 10/10

I get caught up in the Game of scrapping and trying to catch the ships and see what's next. Reloading isn't as fun for me, but if you can find a good double or tripple exotic spawn it can give you a lot more nanites. Problem is they keep changing locations at updates.

I kept augmentations for my own ships. I make 200 millions per chlorine trade so i never worried about losing a few millions while getting nanites. Now i have 4 ships fully upgraded and 3 multi tools so am done farming nanites but what you show us here is how i got my nanites, it definitely works.

Yeah, it’s quite essential that to get maximum nanites, you can go to those guaranteed s-class exotic stations. They give you s class parts when you scrap it which is how I got so many nanites.

Very good for those with little money and you dont have to reload saves like when youre at stations with dual exotic spawns. I do like all S class sales for nanites though and augmentations are guaranteed two per S class exotic.. Im torn on what I wanna do now. I use augmented slots on exotic and sell it back for money at the end there as well. Great video!!

Thanks for the kind words! I've actually gotten 0-3 storage augmentation scraping various S class ships. The double exotic spawn Hawks shoed off does give you 2 per for sure though. If you got the money and glyphs and don't mind reloading it's a great system for it! I tried it myself!

I love how they worked to balance the economy in this game because when it first came out I couldn't even buy an upgraded ship without scavenging them from a crash site, and then we're all working to break the economy harder then ever 🤣

I ALWAYS have slime running in my personal refiner so I have a constant stream of nanites coming in. I'm definitely not saying it's an alternative to scrapping method but you will be making nanites at all times. It takes a while to run the max amount all the way to nanites but I get a little over 400 at a time I think and it's just running while you're doing whatever it is you're doing

Thanks Lesley. Sometimes you have to reload to see the price change I’ve noticed. Also don’t put them in tech as there is no change for that. Honestly I just keep them for myself as I have plenty of money.

UPDATE: strangely and unexpectedly a scan revealed 'curious organic object' on my visor so I flew over there and found that A WHOLE load OF 'RUNAWAY MOULD' has spawned near my first base, now as you taught us THIS refines into nanites. In the space of 5 minutes I had chased a load of balls and scored enough for nearly 1000 nanites!! Cool.! I'm going to try the 'reload' trick to see if i can respawn these stashes!

Also it's worthwhile to note that the haulers are the best for S class ships. The money you make back is dependent on the starting value of the ship... I purchased an S class hauler for 52mil units (with much anxiety) and after 4 of 8 storage upgrades it was up to 79mil units!

Well now I know how to Get more nanites. I didn't know storage augmentation was used for that I paid units for all my storage slots that cost 100s of millions of dollars lol. I can make roughly half a billion dollars to almost one billion dollars every time I go to a space station though. Took a minute to get to that point but just crashing the market with wire looms makes insane money really fast so can buy all these ships scrap them and get those nanites which is what I'm about to do. Then I'll just travel to another space station make a billion dollars in less than 5 minutes doing that lol but now I'll get my nanites! Thanks!!

I found a Portal address for a system that has a space station that on the 1st or 2nd wave spawns 2 exotic ships at the same time EVERYTIME so I just been using this method there, scrapping those back-and-forth to get all the S class modules and a bunch of storage argumentations! Hey Bob, first, thanks for all the vids, great learning stuff. Question about transferring items to freighter. I've noticed you and a couple other vid creators can transfer storage augmentations to your freighter from inside the space station. How?! Please, I'm really frustrated flying back and forth to transfer goods.

Thanks! Glad you like them! There is an item you can create in the freighter called a teleport receiver which let's you access it ANYWHERE! You need to get that! It's in the middle console at the first station you come to on the command deck of your freighter.
