1-fasting helps us to remember the poor people and feel their hunger. 2-fasting help cure many diseases that's why people stop eating when they are ill. 3-fasting make the body get rid of its toxins that are collected during the year. 4-fasting teach you to be patient. 5-fasting rest your digestive system. and many more if you look it up.fasting doesn't kill you, 8 year old children and 80 year people do it and they are just fine.many animals fast too during the year.its Okay to fast.

Shaikh Muhammad Salah talks about the perfumes containing alcohol. Basically, alcohol doesn't matter if it's in perfume since it's a different type to what you drink. But, perfume is forbidden basically anywhere except home with your husband because it makes the woman smell good and makes her desirable to any man that smells her perfume. It's basically the same as wearing a miniskirt and wandering down the street, except you need to be closer for people to notice.

I'm in England and we fast from about 3am till sunset with is about 9.30 pm. But for some reason I don't feal hungry. I could probably do a 5k run just before iftaar. But I'm not going to :-), PEACE TO ALL AMD RAMADAN MUBARAK

There are several inaccuracies in this information: The part of step 4 where it says, "begin fasting when the sky first starts to lighten on the horizon." is misleading. If you see any light, it's probably already too late to eat. Consult your local Masjid for the time of Fajr, or a site like islamicfinder and make sure you stop eating, drinking and doing anything else forbidden from Fajr to Maghrib. To be continued...

a little info might be misunderstood from this video. Perfume is not really forbidden unless it's mouth refresher that you spray into your mouth. However, wearing perfumes are not encouraged while fasting, be it alcoholic or non-alcoholic. That's all. If you stink too much, it's better if you put on.

@zeratul575 yes it's true, Judaism was first by prophet Mosa "Moses", then Christianity by prophet Issa "Jesus", the last was Islam by prophet Mohammed, I've studied that at school too, (religion) is a basic course for all grades in my country, we study all those three religions in details, about Moses, Jesus and mohammed of Course. (Ramadan starts in 3 days :), get ready for fasting)
