Can you make a video on repairing a bumper with peeling paint.. I get a lot of those with chipped and peeling paint due to bad adhesion. After a good amount t of prepping and painting I still don’t know I just have the customer buy a new bumper.

After that great sanding and leveling, since the thickness went down significantly, should I first add some filler and then a 2k high-build primer to bring up the level again?

Only if it needs it, in this case it just needed primer but that full video is coming up.

@@ashramdhan1582 just feather it out as small as possible. A palm size I would say yes but you could use filler to smooth it out if it's small.

Hi I've had very microspico pin heads apering not all over the panel just some areas can't see it unless looking up right up close wonder if you may know what could be the causes. THANKS

Without seeing it , It's almost certainly moisture or oil from your air supply. That's where I would start. Thanks for watching!

Perfect. Exactly where I'm at with my project car lol. Now where im stuck at is do I need a adhesion promoter where the bare plastic is showing now? Or just some 2k over it? And about surface cleaning before paint. Heard u cant clean plastic bumpers like u can body panel with wax and grease remover? Tia

I wouldn't use wax and grease remover on the bare plastic. You could use some adhesion promoter on the plastic won't hurt. I don't if it's sanded with 320 I just use 2k primer thanks for watching.

I know what you mean about the ghost image of the damaged area reappearing. Thanks for that. subed and liked I have a question about applying a decal on a motorcycle tank and trying to blend the decal edge so you can't feel the decal under the clear. Is there a clear gel that I could apply to the edges of the decal so when I shoot the clear you can't feel the decal. Thanks a lot and keep up the excellent vids.

Hey brother, thanks for subscribing and watching. I don't really have a solution for you have you considered clearing over the decal? You have to determine if adhesion would be an issue and you may have to put a flow coat over it.

Could you define what you mean when you say "DA"?

Well it's really an orbital sander meaning it travels in all directions. A D.A stands for dual action meaning it can be used as a grinder or a orbital sander.
